Remarks

Positive, The students who are not able join expensive college due their economical background. They are able join to this college. This college not very much good. But all students can achieve their goals by hard working.

Course Curriculum Overview

According to me that was right way for taking admission. At right time admission process is done by jee main entrance conducted by government of India. And counseling is done by government jharkand state.

Placement Experience

The placement senario of college at the present time is not good. Few students has selected with handsome package. The internship is provided by internsala or the students are the taking by thereself.

College Events

1.TECFIESTA It is a technical festival celebrated in college campus . In this festival there were many technical event such Robotics, coding , designing, gaming etc. 2.SPORTS FIEST 3.WORKSHOP FOR DIFFERENT 4.LEARNING SKILLS

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is less or feasible in comparison of other colleges . It is only 15000 yearly . So it is much more beneficial for economical weeker students. It is due government of jharkand state.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship of students is provided E-kalyaan. The scholarship money is provided by government of jharkand state. It helps to pay all amount of acedemics fees as well as hostel. The loan facility also available.

Campus Life

Many extra acedemics activity is also by college such as basketball volleyball cricket and poetry. The lab are in good condition for all branches such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering,ECE, Civil engineering and CSE.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel condition of college is good . There 3 boys hostel and 2 girls hostel . There are three students in room. The mess facilities are also available in hostel itself. I will give 4 rating out of 5.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni of our college are working in very good place such L&T, Bhusan steel, Tata motors, TCS, Wipro, infosis and etc. They guide us . Many of senior and alumni of college are doing masters in IIT and IIST. And some working in PSU.

Admission

First of I had fill JCECE entrance form issued by government of jharkand. This was conducted various cities of Jharkhand state. Then JCECEB generated admit card for that exam conducted by government of jharkand. Then exam had done successfully. I got 1066 CML rank and 195 OBC category Then counseling and college selection process had organised by government. Then I had selected college and taken admission.

Faculty

The college faculty members are good they have also acedemic record. The of teachers that are teaching are sponsored by TEQUIP-3 . But they are not giving their 100% to the students. By my opinion the faculty should give practical knowledge rather than theoretical.

Campus location is good but there is shortage of shops.
Professor are good and supportive and you can keep bike sk questions whenever you needed.

Dislikes

Mess food is not so good and if you taking hostel it is compulsory to take mess
Transpotation facility is not so good and you

Placement Experience:

From third semester students are allowed for internship and about the placement is about 5 to 6 lpa .Many students here are preparing for government exam like gate ,ies isro ,barc etc. And if you are not satisfied by placement from campus you can try off campus.

At the starting phase of college , we have a beautiful campus (which is not ours actually , its on rent ) loacted at Namkum, Ranchi. known as JUT campus, but after that things are not good.
Some what I liked the sports culture, but we don't have any sports Club yet.

Dislikes

Placements(actually there are students who are the coordinators for the placement group , there is no any particular advisor or any TPO head is there earlier...now there is one TPO coordinator but things are becoming worst there.
No grounds for any sports, we don't have badminton court indoors, so we have to wait for wind to settle before we can play outside.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually my branch is Electronics and communication engineering but my major interest lies in development area , i have gained all the skills in my college by my own taking some guidance from the seniors as they are very helpful and supporting. Improvements in course curriculum could be like they have to basically add one more course or any training program to help students for making skills and teaching them for their placements.(apart of the course , i am saying not because i am from ECE department , its common from any branch student)

Likes

I like their rules and regulation of college.
I like the annual sports, event, and cultural program.
Regular classes, labs, and time to time internal exams

Dislikes

Thing that I don't like is hostal cleaning, mesh food.
I think there is more rules and regulation for senior boys hostels.
From senior boys hostel they pass some comment to the girls

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course is the proper mindset from the class I chose to study btech. The areas for improvement in the course curriculum are more labs to be conducted proper smart classes to be held.

Likes

the return to investment in this college is very fair.
the infrastructure in this college is very good and still developing rapidly .
the fee is very affordable and the surrounding market is also cheap.

Dislikes

the reservation is very high and sc & st community gets so much advantage .
the college is located at outskirts of main city Dhanbad .
there is some sort of ragging culture which is also present here. Talking about the girls to boys ratio it is 25 to 75.

Placement Experience:

The placement stats of BIT Sindri is quite impressive because the core branch placement is too good . it offers around 90% placement to branch like mechanial , electrical , mining , metal. technical branch placement is also improving yearly.

Infrastructure of the University is good enough and also going on for new building
Labs and machineries are updated and in good condition.
Non teaching staffs are helpful and genuine.

Dislikes

Administration make fake promises and discontinue.
Some staffs are egoistic don't think of any one.
Canteen food prices are not affordable. It is too expensive for middle class students.

Good university for those who want degree only not job as they will say 100 percent placement but never make their promises and yes they will also send you in depression so be strong and believe in your self.

I came to this college as a 2nd year lateral entry student . Its a semi government college . The area of improvement include insfarstructure and more faculty member as it has less faculty member than required .

Likes

the greenery of college campus is very nice
the environment of the college is very good
college library staffs are very well behaved

Dislikes

the faculty is not up to the mark , u will not be satisfied by their teaching
student intake is very very less so you will experience less competition
the college campus is beautiful yet very small

Placement Experience:

yes campus placement is offered . the average package is about 7 to 8 lakhs in C.S.E , the placement rate is about 90% for which above 7.5 CGPA is required . The placement rate for E.C.E and E.E.E are also decent .

Experience of an undergrad

Likes

college have great environment good facilities needed as per requirements ,college also have good spacious hostels and we can say better food comparing to what i heard from friends of different colleges ,the evening time is soothing and relaxing
a great senior junior interaction culture and memorable friendships letting you forget the world outside the campus, every festivals are celebrated with joy and fun ,from leaving a family to moving to another one you would love.
some of lectures are quite boring but some will amaze you with visionary thoughts ,every faculty will guide you if they see you lagging behind the course ,some extra sessions are also conducted, introducing new fields to think out of the box

Dislikes

things which i wish might get some improvements are sports facilities big grounds for sports activities students encouragement towards co-curricular activitiy, co-curricular activities get more support to come out with glorious and imagining skills.
fests do contain fun but due to time constraints before fests planning of amazing activities becomes difficult thus leading same things going on repeating, absence of good team leaders leading activities plays major role in activity failure and bored
night out time is a small problem, the area close to college is developing hence not having nearby much places for fun and chillouts spending your free time relaxing.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is average as during 2023-24 it was recession period all over the colleges are facing placements lags but still college students managed to achieve 22 lakhs+ off campus as well as 16 lakhs on campus placement.The college reached his highest placement of 51 lakh during 2023 ,the average package is 5-6 lakh and the placements percentage are 85 percent for cse students,the students completing 7th semester are eligible for on campus placement drive as well as off campus,some of the prominent companies visited are Microsoft, cognizant, samsung, byjus,infosys and 50 more.I will prepare for gate and after that i will try to get on and off campus placements which i will find better accept the offer.

AFFORDABLE EDUCATION WITH SCOPE FOR GROWTH

i applied for several other colleges like heritage haldia and some of in west bengal also in bit sindri and also i get a seat in ece branch of haldia institute of technology but when it comes to the fees it was too high as i earlier mentioned it was like 14 to 15 lacs all over and it was non affordable for my family cause my father is a farmer and in off season he runs a shop our monthly income is about 8 to 10000 ruppes. ofcourse the other colleges are good and in comparison to my college they are very good but again the reason i choose this collge because of affordability also there is no issue of daily attendance if you have good bond with faculty so i get a very good time for self study and GATE preparation so this best fits for me. actually i was preparing for NDA but didn't shorlisted in interview and it was my attempt in drop year after 12 th so i has no age left for NDA so i decided to prepare for jee in december and it was very short time so i prepared a bit and got landed with 82 percentile and then dropped in this college with free tution free waiver seat in cse branch. for admission you have to apply for jcece counselling and then you have to choose your preference order with collges and course and accoroding to your rank you will alloted a seat then after you have to come here with all documents like 10 th makrksheet 12 th marksheet and more personal documents like aadhar card seat allotment letter etc the college admisson cell will verify and after paying the allotment fees they will confirm you seat....Read More
