Course Curriculum Overview

3

Aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision A strong foundation in core subjects, which helps in builiding conceptual clarity. A good balance between theoretical knowledge and laboratory work Emphasis on analytical thinking, problem solving and technical skills 2. Prepare for real world applications and Higher Studies Core subjects fundamental required for competitive exams are not taught here but to pass the basics interviews of core comapnies it is enough. Less assignments are given so that students feel light and works on their passion. 3. Areas of improvements Regular updates to inculde emerging technologies and industry trends More industry- oreinted electives and case studies I hope less use of ppts should be implemented and more focused on green board 4.Exams: Frequency, Timing and Dificulty level The frequency of quizes and exams are quite frequent after each month there is some kind of test and exams going on. And taking the exams without giving the required day gaps. I hope that the frequency of exam and quiz should be reduced.

Internships Opportunities

3

The companies such as ABINBEV Visa Paytm and there are few others which came for internships. But yeah there is a decline in the comapinies visit. There are certain projects which are alloted to the professors students may reach the respective proffesors and do their research works.

Placement Experience

2

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

Fees and Financial Aid

Year-wise tution fee for B.Tech(approx) 1st year - 3,45,700 Hostel+Mess= 1,01,747 2nd year- 3,69,000 Hostel+Mess= 1,01,300 3rd year- 4,06,000 Hostel+Mess= 97,432 4th year- 3,91,000 Hostel+ Mess= More than 1 lakh approx

Campus Life

5

Well i enjoyed a lot here with friends and teachers so yeah for campus life it is a good palce the library has huge amount of books but they are old and the facilities are decent here not so much vip but yeah it should imporve more and more the accomodation facilities of the college is worse i would say.

Hostel Facilities

2

The rooms are made for a single person to accomodate but they are forcefully accomodating two stduents in one room. Mess food- 7.5/10 Everyone would get their roomates by roll numbers I would say there is no kind of accomodation outside of the college till 5-10kms

Admission

Because of its reputation stron alumini network and balanced focus on theory and practical learning Here quality infrasturcure campus culture is quite good It is considered to be a tier-1 college and due to better nirf i chose it. I left akg ghazibad college for this college there i was getting cse but i chose chemical here.

Faculty

4

Faculty to student ratio- 1:45 Most of the faculties are quite friendly and frank with the students helping them. But there are certain branches of btech or b pharma where the facultites need to be more friendly with students rather than just being strict. For chemical enginnering the mot famous faculty amoug us is Sangram Roy because he is quite professional and disciplined about the what he teaches and helps the students to find new opportunities. Exam Pattern Quiz-1 10 marks Mid sem- 25 marks Quiz-2 10 marks End sem- 50 Marks Teacher's assignments- 5 Marks Total=100 Due to relative grading the fail percentage is quite low. Follow the teacher's instructions and class. According to the new demands in industrail and tech sector the course curriclum has been modified a bit.

Interview Experience

4

Yes the topics of my GD is current geo political situations, Ai and social media. The process is simple you would be sitting with 10-15 guys and will be given 1-2 mins to preapre and then start notice that when you start first the chances are higher and the main point is that you should sound technical. So put up datas and facts. I would personally got trained from chat gpt there is one voice mode there where you can talk to the AI and you can improve your speaking skills. And most imp is that i followed many different channels and speeces in english to improve my communication.

Night Life

4

For girls maximum time to roam outtside is till 9PM and yeah there are gyms for both girls and boys separate and the soprts complex. For sports college has done a great job.For boys coming into college after 10PM they would need to show there id cards to get entry inside the college. The most famous place to hangout is the PMC area of the college
