Remarks
The College is best if you wanna have fun and study hard simultaneously. its in Delhi which itself provides lot of opportunities for living a happening life and the college doesn't put much pressure on the students whereas let the student learn anything of their interests and let them engage in the extracurricular activities of their choice.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum is very much upto date and provides many chances to learn practical knowledge.about your interests.The exam structures is also very fine , doesn't put much pressure on students. There is one mid sems exams in each semester which consists of around 30% marks then comes the end sems which weighs 40% marks. Other 30 consists of : 15% of attendance and assignments other 15% of Lab and vivas.
Placement Experience
As I've heard and seen the previous years records , placements and job opportunities are awesome in DTU . Around 250 companies came to DTU in 2018 . So on campus placement record is really good and almost everyone gets placed. I am in my 3rd sem only so haven't done any internship.
College Events
List of events celebrated in our college is endless . There are event for almost every Festival. But the biggest ones are : 1. Aahvaan - Sport Event 2. Engifest- cultural fest , The Best in Delhi 3. Techfest
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure of DTU is feasible . it's around 75k-80k rupees per semester. However it increase a little each year . So total fee for 4 year course would be around 6 to 8 lakh rupees. Scholarship is also provided for the needy ones .
Fees and Financial Aid
There are various scholarships offered by the college on the basis of Family income , Academics or The field of the father's job. For example scholarship are provided for the students with military background.
Campus Life
There are plenty of extracurricular activities and opportunities to do better . There is Cricket Ground , Football ground , Tennis court , badminton court , Kabaddi court , Table tennis , Track for racing too. Only Swimming pool is missing.
Hostel Facilities
I haven't opted for hostel but it's quite okay as compared to it's fee. There are two or three beds in each room. Common toilets and bathroom.No AC is provided but Cooler Fans are there. Mess fee is also very low.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is huge , the CEO of Paytm was of DTU , Sushant Singh Rajput was of DTU . And there were plenty others . many of them comes to DTU during different events and lot of contacts can be made during the events .
Admission
I gave Jee Mains after 12th class , in which I got around 12k rank. Then I applied for the JAC counseling which got me IT branch in DTU. JAC manages the admissions in 4 colleges of DTU namely DTU , NSUT , IGDTU and IIITD . So you need to apply for these college separately on the website of JAC.
Faculty
They are very highly educated however not each teacher is good at teaching. Only few of them are good at teaching and are able to really teach the students . otherwise most of them just do the formality of coming to class and taking attendance.
