Remarks

Overall, college has good infrastructure, active participation in extracurricular activities, sports. On the negative side, some faculty of the college may not be good in their subjects, it depends on personal level. It is a good three-tier college according to me in Pune specifically.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course is based on the Savitribai Phule Pune University pattern. There are 2 Semesters in every year. Each Semester consists of a Submissions, Theory exam, Online exam and Practicals/Vivas. Exam is based on Credits system wherein a student has to obtain a minimum of 25 credits out of 50 credits to go to the next year.

Placement Experience

3.5

College has fair placements for Computer, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical branches. Internships are provided which one can voluntarily take in the third engineering year. Stipends vary accordingly.

College Events

2.5

There are a lot of events celebrated in the college such as Engineering Today (ET), Ashwamedh (Sports competitions), Shivanjali (Annual gathering) and many more. Also students can voluntarily participate in the competitions such as BAJA, Supra, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible according to the Pune University. But, since this academic year there has been a hike in College fees especially for Open category students. One can also furthet avail the benefits of scholarships.

Fees and Financial Aid

EBC schemes can be applied for those having annual income less than Rs.8 lakh per annum. Also, SC, ST, NT castes have scholarships which bring down the college tuition fees very low. Students applying for scholarships must have all the documents ready with him/her at the time of admission.

Campus Life

4.5

There are a lot of extracurricular activities such as Field visits, Virtual labs synced with IIT Bombay, NPTEL courses, NSS Campaigns. Regarding sports, college has a lot of resources from playing grounds to the sports equipment and also to active participation in the sport tournaments.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni and senior students are very well connected to the juniors. There are also Guest lectures held wherein an alumni motivates the students and guides them regarding their education and overall development.

Admission

Like every other colleges in Maharashtra, admission is carried out through the CAP rounds of MHCET Exam. There are three official rounds of the MHCET results know as CAP rounds. Also if there are a lot of vacant seats available in the instituitions, there is a possibility of a Spot round.

Faculty

4

Faculty have good command over the subjects. There are also some faculty which are not good at teaching and lack presentation skills. Self studies is the most important aspect in Engineering course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
