AISSMS collage hit or miss ???????

The faculty-to-student ratio is around 1:20. Most professors are approachable, especially during practicals or in their room no after lectures. I really liked the teaching style of senior faculty like chitrakala mam because they focus on concepts rather than just finishing the syllabus. However, some new staff rely too much on PowerPoints, which can be boring. Since we follow the SPPU pattern, we have In-Sem and End-Sem exams. The In-Sem is usually easy, but End-Sem papers are tough and require deep study. Most students pass, but backlogs in subjects like Maths and BEE are common. Most of the students from college failed in BEE subject

There are no internship opportunities available in college you have to find internship by yourself or by any government schemes . The project told to made by college are boring and not up to the standards of industry requirement.

I chose this course after a long CAP round process. Initially, I was aiming for VIT or DY Patil in Pune, and even checked out colleges in Mumbai and MVP KBTCOE in Nashik, but I ultimately landed here at AISSMS. The curriculum is quite comprehensive for building a strong engineering foundation, though I feel it could include more industry-relevant tools and coding workshops.

For the current academic year, the total annual fee for a General category student is approximately ?1,63,000 to ?1,66,000. This is broken down into a Tuition Fee of roughly ?1,41,000 and Additionally, there are smaller one-time charges like caution money university eligibility fees, and insurance (Amartya Shiksha Yojana) which add another ?4,000–?6,000 to the first-year bill. Regarding the fee increase, there has been a noticeable upward trend. Compared to the previous batch (which paid around ?1.35 Lakhs), the fees have increased by nearly 20% this year. The college generally follows the FRA's revised rates annually, so a 5–10% year-on-year hike is typically expected for new admissions. The scholarship support here is quite robust and follows government norms: Reserved Categories: SC/ST students pay almost zero tuition fees (only around ?3,000–?5,000 for basic charges). OBC, VJNT, and SBC students receive a 50% waiver on tuition fees. EBC/EWS Under the Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Scheme, students from the General category with family income below ?8 Lakhs also get a 50% tuition fee waiver. TFWS For high-merit students, this covers 100% of the tuition fee, leaving only the development and university fees to be paid.

The fets are very boring . The name of the fest is shivanjali . It's too boring i personally go for other colleges fest . The books and the range of avability is good and wide . Classroom do not have mordern asmosphere it feels like we are in school . There is no smart board in classroom or any AC . The sports department of the college is strong as many of my friends are in sports . College has a big ground which conducts football and cricket matches every month . Many clubs in college but i am not in any club personally

I have personally opted for college hostel but I have idea about the fees and facilities provided . The college hostel fees is high for male students but it's good for female students because it's safe and the meal quality is avarage as per the review of my friends . I live in the nearby area which has a average midfel class locality with metro station at walking distance and shops with daily requirements.

My admission process was a bit of a rollercoaster through the MHT-CET cap rounds. I had originally set my sights on some of the most reputed colleges in Pune, like VIT and DY Patil, and even explored top options in Mumbai like Sardar Patel I am from Nashik, I also considered MVP’s KBTCOE as a strong local choice as it was near my home due to the high cut-offs this yea especially for branches like computer Engineering where percentiles stayed above 95ultimately secured a seat at AISSMS. The reporting process at AISSMS was quite efficient. The staff guided us through the document verification and fee payment smoothly, though the campus pathways felt like a bit of a maze on the first day. While it wasn't my very first choice, the college’s central location in Pune and its strong heritage made it a solid alternative. If I could change one thing, it would be the timing of the spot rounds which can be quite stressful for students waiting on the edge of their preferred cut-offs.

I personally found the teaching methods of the senior staff in the core departments to be very practical, though some junior faculty members rely a bit too much on PowerPoint presentations. The faculty which I liked the most is chitrakala mam from VLSI Electronic engeneering department ahe is very helpful and supportive . She helped me a lot in clearing my doubts . Ovrall faculty of electronics engeneering department is very good . The most hated faculty but me is suvidha patil from first year department . Even after submitting everything I did not get marks and it was shown in result that I have not submitted my assignment . She has lots of attitude and the teaching is not taht up to the mark . Secondly the college examination officer who was HOD for first year department perivouuly when I was in first year is just a peice of shit . The language he use with parents and students is not acceptable in any terms .

There was no group discussion or written test for admission. Admission was mainly based on entrance exam score and eligibility marks. I had a simple interview where they asked basic questions about my education, interest in engineering, and why I chose this branch. The process was easy and friendly. I just prepared by revising my basic subjects and being confident. Overall, the admission process was smooth, simple, and stress free.

College has a good gym with lots of equipments but the only drawback I feel is it's paid not free . You have to pay 300 rs per month for the gym and it's only acccisbel after college from. 3 pm to 6 pm with is not a versatile time for everyone. The cafeteria is good with reasnabol price and good teatsy food . There is lots of seating place for students on cafeteria. There are not many hangout stops in college as the campus is not that big .
