Remarks

Since I am studying here so I will keep positive remarks about the facility as there is facility of library which remains open till 8pm and in negative remarks besides having laboratory we are having very few practicals and some teachers are having very few knowledge about the subjaects other things are ok.

Course Curriculum Overview

Agriculture consists of 8 semester and one mid term and one end term exam. You can learn scientific Agriculture through this course. For each semester in Agriculture you will have to pay about 3000 a month.

Placement Experience

In the 8 semester we have placement in different companies through interview for this we have to submit our resume and once rhe company arrives we are having personal interview and once the candidate is selected he has to join there after competition of the degree

College Events

Mainly three festivals are celebrated in our college Christmas gathering,saraswati puja and sarhul puja The other things also happens such as annual sports annual function plus educational tour in the 7 semester or onwards

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is feasible for all students also there is provision for merit scholarship and non merit scholarship in which non merit scholarship is provided through ekalyan and merit through university so each type of students can afford the fee

Fees and Financial Aid

I am having non merit scholarship throughout ekalyan by jharkhand government,where each year we have to fill the form and after all approvals got the money in our adhaar linked bank account,Each year I am getting 10400 rupees

Campus Life

We are having biotechnology laboratory,soil testing laboratory,and plot for experimental purpose. We are having facility for sports such as cricket, football, basketball, volleyball,chess,carrom,table tennis,etc

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is best with the facility of free wifi,daily news paper,Ro water and generator light in case of emergency power breakdown.Hostel is having facility for playing volleyball,chess,carrom,table tennis,etc

Alumni/Alumna

In every field of Agriculture our alumni exists and they provide us guidence for career related apects during alumni meets which is organised by our college in every two to three years.They also help during any type of problems such as emergency financial problem.

Admission

Entrance exam conducted by Jcece and the through councelling you will get admission In councelling you will veterinary, Agriculture,forestry, dairy and fishery all these are under Birsa Agriculture University

Faculty

We are having good teacher ,they are professors cum scientists besides teaching they used to perform various types of field experiments in their various desciplines. Our university has released many varieties such as in rice Birsa dhan 101,Birsa Dhan102,in groundnut we have Birsa Bold.

Think before doing anything

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually biotechnology is an interdisciplinary program where we have to learn mostly the practical skills but there is no such equipment for doing a decent type of research work as they are not in a working condition. So first it has to be corrected and new equipment should have to buy for a making a good laboratory.

My college is not so bad. Proffesors are highly knowledgeable and friendly. Classrooms and labs are well equipped. College hostel are also good. Need some improvement in college infrastructure and placement cell.

Remarks:

This college is really good for economically week students. And it have daily classes too. In other colleges you will dont get the daily classes. But a negative is, you can see some professors who will take bribe.

Best College for Agricultural Science

I chose this college as it is the best one for this course. The quality of education, the faculty, the environment, etc. all are very good. The admission to this college takes place through a state level entrance examination JCECE which is conducted each year by the JCECEB. All the students of science stream are eligible for this examination. The cutoff for admission is around 70 to 75% for this course. The admission process is quite simple for any of the four Agriculture Colleges under Birsa Agriculture University. You just have to complete your 12th with Physic, Chemistry and Biology/Maths as your main subjects. And your 12th score should be at least 50% for the General and EWS category. Based on this, you can apply online for JCECEB Examination on the JCECE portal. The application comes in between July- August and exams are conducted in September in CBT mode. Online Result and the first three counselling processes are done within a month. You have to go to Ranchi Agriculture College, Ranchi for your document verification and admission to the allotted college, on the same day. Age limit - Max 22 yrs for General. Cut off - Selection cut-off has remained between 65-90 till 2k19 but in 2020 it has increased to 105 out of 150 marks.
