Remarks

The college is very good providing wide range of opportunities to the students. The college makes sure that every comfort is provided to the students and education is given the prime importance making sure everyone achieves something in life.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is very well structured giving students vast knowledge, covering every aspect of the syllabus. The exam is taken on semester basis and apart from the final exam each semester also has class test(known as mid term examination).

Placement Experience

4

Many companies come to the college providing wide range of opportunities to excel in different fields. The college has a system in which every student has to do a 2 month internship in the penultimate year for which no stipend is given. The experience has been overwhelming and as we get to learn new things and get so much exposure to the outside world.

College Events

4.5

The university celebrates wide range of events starting from diverse festivals to several interviews, functions, conferences etc. The students as well as the teachers actively participate in every event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is a bit too on the upper side. The fee is too much compared to the central universities. But if the campus and the facilities is taken into consideration, the fee structure looks reasonable as the quality of teacher is also not compromised.

Fees and Financial Aid

The university provides different scholarships to the students. For eg the college provides 50% scholarship to those who score more than 90% in class 12 board and 100% scholarship to those who score above 95%.

Campus Life

4.5

The university is working upon their sports as they are building a sports complex, which is on the verge of its completion. The labs are good and advanced. The university hosts annual intra university sports tournament as well.

Alumni/Alumna

I’m not much aware about the alumni network but the alumni network is very wide as lot of students get good opportunities as they pass out from the university and the alumni are always ready to provide support to their juniors.

Admission

I got the admission on the basis of my class 12 board exam marks and a short interview. Students getting marks above 85% are not entitled for giving any entrance exam and thus get the direct entry to the college. Since I scored 88.75% therefore I did not had to give any written exam and was given direct entry via short interview.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty are very experienced and professional. They are very friendly towards their students. Most of the faculty have completed their education from higher research institute. They are always on time for the classes and try to complete the whole syllabus by taking extra classes to make sure that everything is covered.

Placement Experience:

People who major in my department usually opt for masters over placement not because of this college but because overall industrial or academic opportunities are better with a pg degree. Masters from this college is not recommended as i have heard so from my seniors. Some of my seniors managed to crack competitives and secure MSc seats at great places. Training and Placement cell had a good coordinator previously but now its almost non existent. Companies do come and hire Bpharm, Mpharm and MSc candidates. Packages are below average. Only Nestle pays well. But if you do well you'll eventually climb up the corportate ladder. From the time i am here i have not heard of any BSc candidate getting placed. Most go for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered for such roles ranges between ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package offered to a BSc student is around ?4 LPA, depending on skills and specialization. Overall, around 15–20% of BSc students get placed through campus drives, and many students rely on off-campus opportunities.

The course is very relevant as it provides us an overall knowledge of biology and not dividing it into various sections rather giving us an insight of every aspect of biology. It includes everything such as microbiology, zoology, botany, physiology, molecular biology and so on.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Completely relevant. As the college is autonomous it has its own syllabus. Which matches with the net gate jam exam syllabus. When someone came our college for seminar they strange that we know this much. Exam are quite difficult in 2 months interval.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was well thought out as per me but there were subjects that i found absolutely unnecessary. Subjects like history evs and clc were in no way related to my course. Coming to the main subjects Design, Printing, Photography and film and Media Training were absolutely necessary for my course and whilst the faculty for some of these subjects were really bad, some were good. It is also important to mention none of these subjects actually helped us prepare for the real world. Instead internships and freelance helped us more than these subjects could ever do. Exams were held bi monthly to keep track of what we learnt and every 6 months we had our semester exams. Overall if you want to be a media professional INTERNSHIPS AND JOBS WILL HELP YOU MORE THAN A COLLEGE WILL. I am biased on this opinion as my college didnt provide me with the correct guidance and support i needed to make it in the real world.

Placement Experience:

In case of computer science department, placement is provided at the Last year of M.sc course. Many companies like Wipro, b10x, Tata visited here. Highest package ever is three lakh per annum. 20-40% of the students got placement after completing M.Sc computer science. My plan after B.sc is to pursue MCA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

* It's all about practical knowledge, we are getting from this course and another aspect is if you wants to make your career in research or lecturer then you should go for it. *No changes required in teaching methods but if college will provide hostel facilities and campus requirement drive, then it will better for candidates.
