Since their is good and bad in every thing,but overall I can say my college is good.There may be some issues regarding regular time table and all.Some students find difficult to adjust mess foods.But except these every thing is good
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is very nice and have a good scope in future.It has wide opportunity in Government sectors where we can fing decent job conditions with good salary.Also since every area of country requires civil engineers we can work in places of our choice .
Internships Opportunities
Yes,there is many labs like SIEMENS established in our college for quality internship and training.Mechanical,Electrical engineering have good training experiences.Our college give schoralships to economical weak students.
Placement Experience
Our college is doing very well in placements.Many top private countries are coming for campus recruitments giving good packages to students.Companies like Tata Steel,TCS,Vedanta,Honda,L&T etc are regularly recruiting students.
College Events
There are many technical and social events going on college which conducts many segments where students can participate and outshow their talents .Technical events like robotics give young students ideas to make best use of learning engineering and apply them in their day to day life.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is very low and affordable.It is really feasible.Tuition fee is just around 15000 per year and hostel 5000 per year.Fees is very low as compared to other private colleges giving almost same facilities.
Fees and Financial Aid
Many scholarships are given to economically weak students which can be found in college website:www.bitsindri.ac.in Scholarships are also given based on merit to toppers of each semester.Students can avail loan facilities from outside.
Campus Life
There is good sports facilities.Two playgrounds are there in college .Also every year sports events are organised in college.Students take part in these.Many clubs are running in college like Model Club,Rotaract Club,Photographic Club which organises different events throughout the year.
Hostel Facilities
Infrastructure is good infact it is regularly upgrading and management is trying to make it better every day.Hostel is good with 24 hours electricity and water.Besides this we have common room in hostels where we can play indoor games and Watch T.V.Students also use this for small parties.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes seniors are really helpful.Ragging is totally prohibited.Just we have to wish seniors and respect them .They also help us in every way.Our alumni network is very strong.Alumnis regularly visit college and guide students and share theie experiences with us.
Exam Structure
The college conducts end semester exams after each semester ends.Meanwhile it also conducts mid semester exams twice during a semester best of whose marks is counted.End sem comprises of 80% marks and mid sem comprises of 20%.
Admission
I have written entrance examination JEECE 2018 which is conducted for admissions in BIT Sindri.My rank was 659 in general and 117 in BC1 .I opted for civil engineering in the counselling.But from 2019 onwards,admission will be based on counselling considering the score of Jee mains conducted by NTA.
Faculty
Our faculties are highly qualified .Most of them have done their P.hds and M.tech from IITs and top institutions. Some professors are really dedicated towards their profession of teaching.Their methods of teaching is also good .
