Remarks

They way they have arranged their credit courses is remarkable. Courses like social innovation and engineering exploration make us not only to study textual things but also do something different. Overall its all good.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculum is carried out in the most efficient manner. Each semester has 2 minor exams and an end semester exam. Along with this there are assignments, course projects and activities carried out.

Placement Experience

4.5

No college does not provide internship. Yet the placement records are high. Almost all the students get placed. We are being trained for placement interviews from 2nd year itself. Training process ensures good placement records.

College Events

4.5

Techfests are organised. We have a lot of competitions along with culutural fests twice a year. Hackathons, workshops are arranged during the techfest. And cultural evenets include fashion show, bollywood nights and inter departmental dance competitions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is feasible. Its aroung 70000 for a merit seat. Scholarships are also provided. For a comed-k seat it goes around 2 lakhs per annum. Compared to other colleges giving the same education as this the college fees here are more feasible than at other universities.

Fees and Financial Aid

I avail a scholarship for minority. It gives 25% of the fees if we score 75 percent and above. Other scholarships are also provided to students doing exceptionally well in the academics and sports. Lot more are available.

Campus Life

5

Labs are conducted every week and it is made compulsary to attend them. Practical knowledge is more focussed on. Along with studies sport activities are encouraged. Interdepartmental matches are conducted. As well as trainings are given to interested people.

Hostel Facilities

4

Yes. I rate hostel facilities 8 on 10. Good infrastructure, security arrangements are at its best. Wardens are available all the time. Food in the mess is good. Hostel has its own events. Strict hostel timings for girls.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumnis visit every now and then and speak to students. They conduct workshops where they inform us about the what a company needs and how we need to blend ourselves. They also help us in getting internships.

Admission

Through KCET. Ranks were announced first. Councelling process starts after that. We need to go for the verification process first then we can put the colleges we want to get admitted to according to our priority.

Faculty

4.5

Educated enough to clear our concepts and encourage us to explore more. Assignments are given to trigger our brain and solve good number of problems. Contests are also conducted to check where we stand.

S-VYASA Deemed-to-be University School of Advanced Studies Collaborating with NIAT, Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)
Reviewed on Aug 13, 2026(Enrolled 2024)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the NIAT curriculum around four out of five. In my opinion, it is good that the curriculum is not only based on theoretical studies. The inclusion of coding, projects, assignments, and practical knowledge is quite engaging for the students, as they can apply the acquired information in practice. Additionally, I find the curriculum up to date compared to the standard Btech syllabus, which mainly focuses on theoretical background. However the curriculum could have fewer assignments, as some of them are rather time consuming and require additional study to achieve a better understanding of a particular subject.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally, I was interested in ECE course since I liked working around chips and was intrigued by how they worked, which is what led me to choosing this course. The curriculum is not the best for real-world applications since the syllabus is pretty outdated. The teaching does involve smart boards and can be visual as well, but it can be utilized better by the professors. A semester lasts for around 5 months, with the last month only involving SEE (Semester End Examinations) and the first four months consisting of 2 CIE tests in the 2nd and 4th months. It also involves practical examinations.

Placement Experience:

KSIT has an average placement rate of 70%-85% depending on the branch . CSE,ISE and ECE branches have higher placements while mechanical and civil have fewer opportunities in IT sector . Average package is about 4-6LPA . KSIT attracts many IT based recruitiers with some core companies for non -IT branches . It also provides pre-placement training, coding boot cams, aptitude tests and soft skills development . Alumni network is moderate, but students need off-campus efforts for high paying jobs

Placement Experience:

The on-campus usually starts in 6th Semester. A company called MathCo was the first company it came for the role of analyst. Around 5-7 people got selected. The average package would be usually around 4-4.5 LPA, but highest package was 6.25 from PlanetSpark for role of Sales. The percentage is nearly to 10-12%. After degree, get a job and work for atleast 2 years for learning current trends is my basic thought as of now.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course I adopted since I couldn't do my neet. In 2nd year I thought of taking CSE . I GOT MANY SEATS IN OTHER COLLEGES FOR OTHER COURCES. But I wanted to adopt only CSE based . I mean social or economical or design thinking and scientific foundation.. these courses are of no use while learning engineering so this might be the drawback . Exams are conducted very strictly in our clg and I appreciate that !
