Remarks
Studies perspective our college is great and gives utmost importance only to that. Technical aspect we will be encouraged to participate. The only negative remarks will be that we do not have much of cultural activities aparat from the annual day. If that could be improved a bit, people excelling in that also could shine more brighter.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is as described by Anna University and it is same for all colleges. It was very good and had mix of all fields. The exam is Semester wise having 2 semester every year for a 100marks and grades are awarded based on marks.
Placement Experience
Most of the top companies visit our college campus and almost every eligible student will get a job. Companies like siemon,Zoho corp, iNautix, TVS, Cognizant,infosys,Amazon,etc, visit for campus placement. No, our college does not provide any internship.
College Events
We have sports day which will be conducted on the college premesis. We also have annual day celebration. These are internal events. External we have Cricket league where the tournament is played among various colleges and happens for a week long. We also have technical Symposiums conducted for every department separately.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Our college does not have any own fee structure. It is mostly the same as decided by the government of Tamilnadu. They get extra amount for the books which will be provided by the college. Overall the fee structure is 5 on the scale of 10.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college offers Scholarship for SC/ST students by giving back the tution fee to them. They also have scholarship for the poor people whose parents income are less than 3lakh per annum. Many students have gained advantage of it and got benefitted.
Campus Life
Extra curricular activities are conducted only during annual day. There is no separate club or anything for that. Labs are equipped with propper machines which give accurate readings. All the faculties give equal importance to labs as well as theory. We have sports club where ppl can showcase and enhance their talent. Our college students have competed till state level and got selected for national level.
Alumni/Alumna
Every year we have Alumni day conducted by our college itself. It will be very helpful to know all the passed outs there. They arrange for some cultural program by our own alumni and conduct fun games. All the senior students are very helpful.
Admission
In Tamilnadu, Engineering college admission is conducted through Anna University Counselling.The counselling happens batch wise and for my cutoff the college was available. Hence I chose this college and the admission happens when we take the slip to the college and pay the fee.
Faculty
The faculties of the college are well trained and are very knowledgeable on the subject they are handling. They provide notes and suggest on the various books which we can refer to get good marks and attain great information on the core subject. They encourage students to participate in other technical events conducted in other colleges.
