Remarks

Beginning with the number of intakes that is being increased year by year with an annual fee of about 2 lakhs this college barely provides you facility worth 50k an year. Infrastructure is the same and no where near the rate with which intakes is being increases. If you get a seat or a book you are searching for in the library consider yourself lucky enough. The teachers are the typical government employees who thinks what can these children do to me. Placement scenario is the worse if you are from a non coding branch. You will be shortlisted just to please the recruiters that there are enough interested students but they selected only the coding branch students no matter how worse they are than you.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course curriculum is like the general one but you have little freedom to switch and study subjects of other branches and exam halpens twice in a semester one the mid semester exams and the other the end semesters exam

Placement Experience

2.5

The placement and job opportunities are ample if you are from a coding branch else the non tech jobs few and the number of candidates going for it are way too high so your chances of getting selected is very dim. And if you are from a technical background its gonna get even harder for you

College Events

2.5

So many events are celebrated in our college from sports fest Ahvaan to annual cultural fest Engifest and other fests like Yuvaan and technical fest. Engifest being one of the best to experience with artists coming from all around rhe globe.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Personally I believe since our university comes under Govt. of Delhi it is way to expensive for the fee we pay we barely get the facilities of library hostels labs at the fullest. Every place feels crowded and you have to fight to get a place.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college offers scholarship for the weaker financial section students for which each student donates 500 rupees in the fee itself. So if you are shortlisted and during the interview you get approval you are given scholarship

Campus Life

3

Well the labs aren't that great but aren't bad either. We are able to perform everything that's all. As far as sports is concerned the university team ain't that great because of the i internal politics involved as they prefer someone they know over talent

Hostel Facilities

2

If you are coming from delhi itself there is a very slim chance that you will be getting a hostel room due to the limited number of hostels and ever increasing intake of students though the food is like the other hostels only hostel rates are nominal and affordable

Alumni/Alumna

Well there are fair amount of seniors who have done fairly well in the coding branch and upsc but still waiting to find someone who have excelled in the technical field. Though their is a large alumni network but they are barely helpful.

Admission

The admission is purely through the JEE mains basis. You just have to take part in the joint councelling of DTU , NSUT, IIIT Delhi and once you get shortlisted you are in. They release so many shortlists and there are spot rounds too.

Faculty

2

Some are nice but most of them are rude and especially those aged ones the younger ones are focused on getting their higher degrees so that they can basically get a promotion. Despite that their are other professors that are exceptionally good in their work.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.
