Remarks

Good but not the best can be made better by few changes in the rules and powers. Encouragement to be given to students along with support. Placement contacts need to be improved. Training and teaching is fine compared to other college's. Need to produce better results.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is constant and that's common for all the college's affiliated to Anna University. So the curriculum is fine we'll planned but as the college is old u may feel the syllabus also old. Coming to exams u will have 8 semesters. Each semester you will have to earn internals by writing three periodical tests and then attend one University level test

Placement Experience

2.5

Placement is big question mark in almost many college's other than the top rated college's. Same as other college's few IT companies come and recruit irrespective of the branch u study. But if need Corr placement they are very very few opportunities to grab. Internship college's won't sponsor nor give exposure, but if u get any means and find the intern then permissions will be given for sure by college.

College Events

4

The college has many clubs so for sure there will be many events too both technical and non technical. College has Burke club for English events, NSS and YRC events conducted in schedule. And every year we have symposium conducted by each department separately. College day is conducted once in a year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is of two different structure one is govt fees and other is management fees. I don't know about the latest fees but the fees at my time is as follows. For govt (40,000 +20,000) For mgmt (70,000+20,000) The first fees is tution and college fees and second fres is training fres

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship and loans are asusual available as per government orders. But i was not eligible for any of the scheme so i am not aware much. But many got around 5000 to 20000 amount per year. Loan facility is offered by the indian bank situated inside the campus.

Campus Life

3.5

Labs are good not so highly equipped nor very poor , that are good for usual curriculum practicals. But if you want to learn and use labs for research then I would say very difficult. Sports is encouraged and will send you to play at different levels of you perform.

Alumni/Alumna

Yeah there is gathering called SHIMMER which conducted annual meeting every year. Which gathers aluminis of college and they discuss about there present and it's a gathering and finally give ideas to develop our college and raise funds for college infrastructure improvement.

Admission

Apply anna university TNEA(Tamilnadu Engineering admission) they sort the applicants details based on several categories. And in counseling you need to select the college if it's available. And also they have other way of quota.i.e management quota

Faculty

4

The faculty are good and experienced, but the teaching style is also primitive , very less usage of technology such as ppt, online videos etc. Practical sessions are less coming to communication it's okay they can make u understand what they are trying to convey.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.
