Remarks
Most of my views for the college are only positives. It helped me to grow my personality in various ways and increase my knowledge and skill set. Hostel life taught me how to live independently and in harmony with others.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum, especially of Electrical Department is good with focus on books written by foreign authors.The lab facilities are adequate and in good shape. The curriculum covers almost everything that is there to be studied
Placement Experience
The Training and Placement Cell of DTU is the strongest point of our college. Many companies visit our college in an year long process and offer one of the best roles and remuneration in the industry. College has it's own internship program called USIP and pays for the same.
College Events
Life in DTU is quite happening with multitude of events happening all across the years ranging from the sports fest, to the tech fest, to the literary and film fest and the cultural fest, the engifest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The tution fee can be considered a bit expensive in terms of other government colleges or NITs. Hostel fees is feasible for most of the residents. The tution fee can be compared to be equivalent to the IITs
Fees and Financial Aid
There are various scholarships offered by the college ranging from the scholarships for girl child, to the reserved and to the low income families. There are various scholarships funded by private entities or alumnus of college
Campus Life
The sports complex is a place where students spend most of their evening playing different sports. The Indoor sports hall boasts of various badminton courts, TT tables and pool tables. Students can take various roles in many societies functioning here.
Alumni/Alumna
DTU is a 79 year old institution and boasts of a large alumni network in various fields varying from CEOs to CTOs to actors. Seniors are quite helpful durng your college years and will guide on the way.
Admission
The first step was to sit for JEE Main Examination and scored good marks. For the second step, I applied on Joint Admission Council(JAC), Delhi and participated in further rounds and finally got admission in spot round.
Faculty
Faculty is one of the good point of our college. They focus on clearing the concept and make sure that everyone is strong with the basics. The project and research work by faculties is also very good.
