Remarks

I think the intake of college is much more as compared to other colleges due to which all students don't find job at the end of their course

Entrance Preview

I have given JEE mains exam in which I got 12000 rank and I chose Delhi Technological University as it is best among all that admit students through jee mains exam and it is also near to my house and just because the standard of teaching here is good and the atmosphere of college is brilliant for studies and research.

Internships Opportunities

I have not yet get any stipend internship hope will get soon but the stipend offered in the college varies from 10k to 35k depending about the standard of company

Placement Experience

5

The placements are also nice as we all are aware that DTU was ranked 1in placement in India in Indian Outlook survey so big companies like flipkart, Microsoft, facebok, Google recruit. Very good students are placed in these companies and they give package around 80lakh to 1 crore

College Events

5

Tech fest and engisfest(cultural fest) in month of February.Cultural fest are done on large scale good singers like Sonu nigam,Mohit Chauhan,Indian ocean band perform live and create musical atmosphere all around in the college. Technical fest are also organised in which research work is presented in front of students

Fee Structure And Facilities

I think expensive now Rs99000 for new student. It is Delhi govt. institution so the fee should be lesser around 45-50k as the poorer students are not able to pay the huge amount of fee due to which they don't choose this institution and choose other colleges which have lesser fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

Award for departmental topper every semester to whom Rs20,000 is given and SBI also provide educational loan on subsidized rates

Campus Life

4.5

The gender ratios vary from course to course it is 1:1 in computer and software branches while 90:1 is also there in mechanical branch.Hostel parties are organized by the hostellers on regular basis. There is not much political environment in the college and all students and teachers also treats all student equally whether he/she belongs to lower caste or is differently abled

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Nice mess food reminds me food prepared by my mother clean room.PG rates are around 5k/month.Hostel seats are few as per the requirement due to which two student share 1 room. Hostel fee is Rs2000 per year which includes all the charges including mess, med

Alumni/Alumna

Very big list of alumnis. Vinod Dham-Father of pentium chip, owner of paytm and jabong ,Sushant singh rajput,Kernel singh-ex commissioner of Delhi, big industrialists in India and all over the world,ITC,NTPC,BHEL are many more big companies have cmd from this institution

Exam Structure

No the time table is quite chilled free time is ample that is provided almost everyday. The exam are done in 2 phases mid sem and end sem as the name suggests mid sem falls at the mid of the semester and are of 30marks and end sem at the end of semester an

Faculty

4.5

Faculty has good teaching experience and they have knowledge about the subjects. They don't just teach the syllabus but also gives knowledge that is required by every engineer like information about new technologies and also involves students in research w

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.
