Remarks

The positive remark is faculty is good they will help us in any situation and the negative remark is of management they won't cooperate with us.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

It's very good as the courses are there but we should choose which we want as we can't tell also we are not able to talk about that anything so I already described the exam structure.

Placement Experience

80% placements will be done & college provides an internship if the top company hires me then starting the package will be in top companies be like 4-5 LPA so of course, we should join whichever we will get recruited.

College Events

4.5

Chiguru fest , kannada rajyotsava, ethnic fest Onam festival chiguru fest is one of the biggest fests in college from every college the participants will come & participate in the events & we will look up for participants.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive actually like we can't change the fee structure because the fee structure will be set by the organization so we should follow their rules so that with no changes we can't do in some colleges they can increase their fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship will be given by the state government named as kar epass Karnataka & loan is not provided by the college & scholarship is not provided by the college as they won't give the scholarship.

Campus Life

Sports we will play every day as college conducts competitions on sports like cricket, football, chess, carrom, volleyball, etc & labs are well equipped they will maintain labs correctly there is no problem in labs.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel infrastructure is quite not good of what we will expect and facilities are very poor the food is ok we can manage but the hostel Life if good & wardens are also too good they will also follow the rules.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes they are very helpful because they will tell us how the life will be after completing degree & they will tell us how to crack placements & how to live outside in the world and they will give the info of the higher studies.

Admission

I wrote the kea entrance exam in that I got 65000 rankings & I got this college in option entry of 3rd round & I paid money through bank to college & I joined this college by paying money for the hostel of 95000.

Faculty

4.5

They are very friendly with us they will help us whenever we want they will give marks in internals minimum & they will show sympathy on us, by the way, faculties are very good we can't talk anything about them.

And also the campus provide all facilities and make helps to sports and ration is almost equal of boys and girls

Dislikes

Yes some things are there which I disliked first is the campus is very strict and no function are organised yearly ones or twice is very sad thing as compared to other campus
Second thing is food students facing some problem with the food which hear prepared so outsiders facing lot of problems
Third is about hostel facility is good but very strict only once a week the students should go out side and write leave letter to go there native places.

Placement Experience:

Students got opportunity to eligible after 3rd year mainly in 7th semester students get opportunity for campus interview. In my college the company which came to hire is congizent and microsoft and amezon and dell nearly 80 to 90 company are came. The company offers is highest is 40 lack per annum which google provide and minimum is 4lack . Insights of the Gopalan college of engineering and Management by a First Year Student

Likes

Canteen is fine has nice and tasty food and quite a lot of options
Library is also good has every book related to my course and few others as well
Lab facilities are also very nice and the college has a nice crowd

Dislikes

It's nothing like I expected, they don't let students use the ground or turfs. Facilities are pretty bad.
They charge money for everything and has zero facilities for college students. Everything is for there school students.
College is very small and the faculties are rude to students. (Mostly the case)

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible for placements from there 7th semester but I wouldn't recommend relying on college for placements. Not many companies come to this college so placements are really bad. If u have skills it would be better to apply to companies on your own. I don't have details on how many students gets placed but as much as I know it's about 30-50 % And average package is also very low. I plan of gaining skills and certification on my own and job hunting myself in 4th year through my connections and internships. Or maybe go abroad for masters As I'm a first year student I don't know much about which companies come and how much they offer.
