Course Structure

College is in an open campus so locals create problems , and more accident happens , rules must be strict for students who does mischievous activities in hostel and the authorities must take care of the campus to make it ragging free

Course Structure is quite good and it actually covers all the requirements of the profession and the current market, qourse are designed and divided in each semester perfectly stage by stage. Exam structure is quite good, there are 5 theory papers and 4 practical subjects,in each semester there are two exams one mid sem and one end sem , mid sem in of 20 marks each paper and end sem is 70 matks , remaining 10 marks is given on the basis of attendance and assignment

Placement is good but not as good as someone should expect from the oldest and the bestest College of the state. But the alumni are very supportive and the with the the college authorities taking a good care of that

There are many events celebrated in our college tl. Three main fests are samavesh the technical fest, vassunt the cultural festival and illumina the sports fest. Some other are yogustov, iusm, vir Surendra sai jayanti etc

Fee Structure is quite reliable, we only pay 1 lakh per annum as my branch is self financed, but other branches like cse , eee, mechanical, etc , civil etc the only pay 40000 rupees, it is feasible fee structure

Loan is something that many students apply for, so our college has a deal with the local branch of sbi and the uco bank that provides loans in a very low interest rates, also college provide some good scholarship for merit and deserving students.

Labs are not very good but quite okay, sports are given a good chance here , there helds a sports meet each year and also there are many sports clubs in our college , there is florts fest also called illumina , many colleges take part in iusm and illumina

There are 5 hall of residences for boys and 6 for girls, i live in Pulaha hall of residence in A block , there are 4 blocks in Pulaha hall of residence and in order hall of residence s 8 wings in each

Alumini network is very strong as it is a 70 years old college and first engineering college of Odisha, seniors are very supportive and helpful they help us in finding internships and competitive exams

First i appered for jee main and my rank was 122126 , then i counselled for the colleges for information technology branch through ojee counseling process, then i got a seat in information technology branch on the basis of my rank

teacher are highly educated wnd post graduate from reputed organizations , most from IITs and NITs, teachers are very supportive also, teacher are always available for doubt clearance in the department in there chambers, they also give information about different competitive exams and also prepare for them
