Remarks

College management is good infact they have monry but we need to push them for everything but overall i can say nice college.

JEE i score 2500 rank univercity name is biju patnaik university it is in orissa border to jharkhand good college good infrastructure nice one good facualty.

Course Curriculum Overview

There are 8 semister and course is 4 years there are lots of branches open here the best is now as per student is mechanical engineering the best is communication. I am so happy that i passed out from here.

Internships Opportunities

Internship experience is good general stipend is only 2 k per month but you will get some other benefits like every type of books even very cheaper hostel fee you can mange for entire month.

Placement Experience

Place ment is very good you will be get gob from 3rd year onwands company like, infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Symphony, Futuregroup, Aditya birla minacs, Etc. Hope your career is best here.

We partcipitate in every cutural program here you will feel and never forget your culture in rest of your career i used to participate in evry year and this is very interesting.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee stucture is not that costly. It is just 60 thousand per year now i am telling how you can pay you can pay by check or cash but you cant pay online I guess now its available. You need to check with college faculty.

As my knowkende scolarship will be given to toppers only unfortunately i was not but i knnew our topper got some scolarship from our college and from unversity as well.

Campus Life

It was amazing campus is so big there is a big ground where we used to play cricket and foot ball on Sunday nice college with greeneries there is a nice gym available near to hostel I was working out there for last year.

Hostel Facilities

I was living in hostel for first and second year experience was nice if you stay in hostel you will come to know how to maintain your routine which is very important.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Here i have a good expeience my college and specially my sineors are verygood they helped me in semisters and in cricket aswell overall it is 8 out of ten.

Exam Structure

Exam stucture is so nice its like 8 semister ad period is 4 years there are some internal exam as well a part from internal we have practical session as well.

Faculty

Good very good specially in electronics and telecommunication even in mechanical engineering we have good faculty all are very professional and way of teaching style is very good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Have collabs with IBM, Samsung, Capgemini for RnD and NUS singapore , University of North Texas
Our college has hosted International Conferences like IEEE InGAARS 2025and Indocrypt 2025, where scientists had came from NASA, ISRO, all IITs, Foreign Universities, etc
Exposure is Good. The teachers here put efforts to teach and research. Unlike other colleges where teachers comes and roll out PPTs, here every teacher teaches on Board explaining everything properly

Dislikes

Few teachers speak in Odia accent, so it takes couple weeks to adjust
Campus is kind of small (36acres), but its good area for a IIIT, considering IIIT delhi is just 25 acres
3 occupancy hostels for 1st years (same goes for any other NIT/IIIT), but they have a option of single rooms from 2nd year

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. My plan after getting degree is getting job from campus drive.

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.
