Remarks

Only one remark is The college is too far from city. This the only remark i felt because our college is located at nagadenahalli which is nearly 8 k. m away from Doddabalapur and nearly 15 k. m away from Devanhalli.

Course Curriculum Overview

Every facility required for acadamics, labs are enough sufficien and provided by college. We have necessary labs which are mandatory for our course. So i'm quite satisfied with labs. For every lab there will one lab technician and two faculties.

Placement Experience

When compared to previous years we are very satisfied with placements. Managment provided very good team regarding placements who are very serious regarding our training for placements. They has designed a four year plan for training from 1st year onwards

College Events

Gitam banglore always supportive to encourage extra circular activities every semister we will have atleast two culture and 1 tech fest. Evert year we welcome fresher's with fresher's day and every month second saturday we will have tech/cultural fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is feasable fee is classified into 3 categories. As our college is located in Karnataka first they take karnataka students those who wrote K-cet exam and attended for counseling, And students who wrote comed-k, and G-sat exam

Fees and Financial Aid

Every semister there will be merit scholorship. They filter merit students in the way after results of every semister they select nearly 5-6 students frm every class and provide merit scholorship. It will repeat in same manner every year.

Hostel infrastructure is good and very satisfactory. With wi-fi facility, lan, hot water, 24/7 power supply, good quality drinking water, good food with different varaties, dhobi facility, hospital, good hostel warden facilty.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes our seniors are very intractive with us they are very friendly with us. Even during any events are fest's conducted in our college we will work and celebrate and enjoy together. We didn't face any problems regarding ragging.

Admission

I got admission through Comed-k. College with good atmosphere and good faculty so i'm quite satisfied with college rules and regulation this made me to choose GITAM Banglore. I got seat through my comed-k rank

Faculty

They are enough effecient they are doing their job well. Each branch has effective staff they are providing enough guidense for our academics and for projects they are very friendly with us and support us.

Is NIAT worth the hype? My honest student review

Likes

You actually get to do things instead of just listening to lectures
The learning environment feels quite active
We have good exposure to the tech industry

Dislikes

The workload can get too intense sometimes
Not everything feels like a traditional college experience
The overall cost is a concern as it is a bit high

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the NIAT curriculum around four out of five. In my opinion, it is good that the curriculum is not only based on theoretical studies. The inclusion of coding, projects, assignments, and practical knowledge is quite engaging for the students, as they can apply the acquired information in practice. Additionally, I find the curriculum up to date compared to the standard Btech syllabus, which mainly focuses on theoretical background. However the curriculum could have fewer assignments, as some of them are rather time consuming and require additional study to achieve a better understanding of a particular subject.

Dislikes

Placement opportunities can be improved by bringing more core IT companies.
Some administrative process could be faster , and additional industry certification.
While the academics are strong, more industry visits,live projects.

The curriculum at my college is comprehensive and relevant to current industry requirements . One of the main reasons I chose this course was the balanced combination of theoretical concepts and practical application.

The coaching here is good but one thing is you need you cope up

From 2nd year they give placement training..mostly from 6th sem they allow us for placements this year the highest paid is 54Lacks per annum mostly 90 percentage of students gets placed my plan is to for a good job

faculties can be easily approched for doubt solving
seniors are also friendly and quite helpful
labs have sufficient infrastructure, in proper working condition

teaching is mainly in regional languange
placements are about 40 to 50 percent, placements in core is bit difficult
correction for core courses are tough, .

Placement Experience:

campus placements is pretty good, from 6th sem students are allowed to take placements pretty good companies like synopsis, qualcomm, samsung and many other top requirters do come for placements. there are few people who even with backlogs have placed so it depends on the student capabilty to get placed.

KSIT - A good college with everything mixed level.

Likes

Good teachers, very friendly & teaching is good.
Easy to travel due to multiple transports.

Dislikes

Small infrastructure as the area is too small.
Not have ground to play when students are free

Placement Experience:

The on-campus usually starts in 6th Semester. A company called MathCo was the first company it came for the role of analyst. Around 5-7 people got selected. The average package would be usually around 4-4.5 LPA, but highest package was 6.25 from PlanetSpark for role of Sales. The percentage is nearly to 10-12%. After degree, get a job and work for atleast 2 years for learning current trends is my basic thought as of now.

ya the overall infrastructure is good and company placements there was well wishers in that time
teaching is not what i expected but good
mentorship quality is ok,faculty expertise is ok ,profeeional department is medium

Dislikes

they where strict and needed some cultural event for every month of one year
they dependent for notes in their classes where this is not i am interested
they will call for the phone for every wrong things to tell their parents

the curriculum was not inflenced by the decision and where the choosen course was clear and academic marks was good the teching methods need to be very friendly and didnt strict to be done so where then its superb the timing of exams is correctly done and perspective for the difficulty level appliction speceific for the students in their real wor examples
