Remarks

Good option for government engineering college you should go for it and yes it so old college is i Ahmedabad so buildings are old but renovation work are in process after 3-4 years i think infrastructure of college is so good.

Course Curriculum Overview

In computer branch we learn some computer languages, things about managing database. We learn semester wise and each semester has 5-6 subjects related to computer engineering Hardware related, software related And college takes mid semester exam for institution internal marks nd semester exam taken by the GTU of 70 marks

In LD college most of the placement company comes and hire the students into their company And in computer placement ratio is very high 70-75% students get placement in our branch Companies like HSBC, Accenture etc comes nd hire the students

College Events

Technical festival are held in every even semesters its called tech fest and management team is the students of the ldce they manage the whole event organize and all. im also involved in some events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is Government college so fees are not that much Admission fees are 1500rs and for gtu examination 750rs every sem and every starting of the year we have to pay the fees of around 2200-2300 these are the college fees

Fees and Financial Aid

college is not providing the scholarship but government providing students scholarship in some criteria around 10k we have to apply online for scholarship and about loan i don't have any information and i didn't heard about it in my college

Campus Life

In college various clubs are active that organising the some events or festivals or some social works and also organising open mic and dance if any student wanted to do and dhanak club is very popular in our college they do songs dance drama and comedy the won awards for it from gtu and xitij college is ragging free so it's so safe.

Hostel Facilities

No I'm not in the hostel. so i don't know that much but yes there is the hostel facility. there are block wise boys hostel and girls hostel is at backside and far from the boys hostel in each room 3 students allocated and hostel allocation is also based on merit.

External Expense: Rs. 2000 - Rs. 4000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes contact with seniors are so good they help us if we need, they are with them we don't feel like they are our seniors they are in some clubs so they know some works and teach us how to do it. They guide us.

Admission

After completing 12th Choice feeling is done online by the ACPC we chose our favourite choice and as per the merit they alot us a seat in our choices and we have to print letter nd have to get confirmation from the college thats it.

Faculty

Faculties are very good. ! They have all the knowledge about every subjects Obviously they are teaching us in government college and its not easy to get in and faculties are veey friendly they clear every problems of students

Likes

The campus is really well built and has good classrooms with air conditioners in every class ensuring student comfort.in
Decent facilities for extra curricular activities like sports and metro connectivity as well.

Dislikes

Same old rigid curriculum that is still being taught in Tier 3 engineering colleges through out the country
Some of the faculty even though they may be knowledgeable themselves, fail to deliver their thoughts in an efficient way to the students
Attendance criteria is relatively strict at around 80% on paper but you can still do with 70+ percentage.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th Semester and companies start visiting at that time. The no. of companies that visit are around 30+ and the highest package offered last time was around 25+ LPA. The average package is 7-8LPA. Some of the companies that visit are Accenture,TCS, Infosys, JP Morgan(students got placed from a Hackathon)

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

My Life at Parul University as a computer science student

Likes

The collage infrastructure is really good and vibrant, it is well developed.
Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,

The campus life is great as the atmosphere it consquires is way better than the three experiences I have had at Maharaja sayaji rao university of vadodara, Vishwakarma government Engineering college and Parul University respectively. The atmosphere
The atmosphere cultivates studying and friendly competition Between the peers,it doesn't quench that competitive Nature and rather it amplifies it, also the boy girl ratio is good.
The faculties are the best, and it's not just me all the students feel that way as some faculty are from IITS and some are very experienced and have had decades of research experience in that field.

Dislikes

I think here you focus a lot more on studies rather than extra curricular activities so I think that can be improved
There are too many lectures in a day, conpared to my friends in svit I have around 2 hours worth more of lectures
The wifi and connectivity and there being counsellors is stated but it not implemented intensively

Placement Experience:

The placement are one of the best in Gujarat for chemical engineering as the average package is on the higher side, at 6,50,000 and the highest package has reached 16,00,000. - students are eligible from the 7th semester for placement - some companies that have visited are Reliance Atul Bear L&T G.S.F.C Etc - around 70% of the batch was placed last year. - my plan is to prepare for Gate examination after/around my graduation.

from semester 6th , placements drive is begun talking about my course , Biotechnology engineering , there was NO PLACEMENT DRIVES. But our hod will definetly help in getting great jobs according to your requirement. And help in GATE exam preparation is very minimal , so one shall prepare it by themselves.

Benches are very old and some are very poor for sitting it
