The positives sides i already mentioned above. There are negative parts, the infrastructure isn’t equipped with coolers which creates a mess during summers. And also the water cooler isn’t efficient either, sometimes water cools & sometimes not.
Course curriculum contains subjects which are required for the civil engineering. At first year, a student has to learn some subjects of each & every streams, passing that the student can study their own stream subjects.
The placements were good. Unfortunately our civil engineering doesn’t got any placements but other streams like Computer Science, Information Technology, Et&t, EEE got placements in a reputed company.
College conducts a number of events like inter-college sports event, inter-university sports events, Technology Festival, Engineer’s day & also some computer games events to make the interest of a student in college.
The total expense of engineering is on the feasible side. The fee structure is based on semester wise, which is twice a year, as 2 semesters are there in a year. An exam fees is to be given during the form fill up of end sem exam. There were small donations all over the year for different purposes like Vishwakarma Puja, Saraswati Puja & many more.
There are scholarships to those students who has a rank under 800 in CGPSC. The scholarship contains FREE OF EDUCATION all over the sems, only the exam has to be paid by the particular student. There is also provision for the loan from different banks that provide educational loans.
The facilities of laboratory are good in college, well equipped with each and every practical instrument that are required for the practical. Various sports events also being like Carrom, cricket, football, chess, computer games, etc.
Senior students were very helpful & also very disciplined. They helped us in every situation. At times we used to crack jokes. The alumni network is also good, each and every person is knowledgeable at their work & every person has been assigned to different works which ease the work in college
Appeared for CGPSC after class 12th, passing which I can get admission in any of the engineering colleges through rank purpose. After the result & document verification, counselling occurs which the student has to enlist the colleges he/she wants to take admission in. I listed Chouksey Engineering College, through which I got admission according to my rank.
Faculties were having good knowledge about the subject they were given. They also possess some good knowledge when performing a practical. Lab asst. also possess skills & knowledge about the practicals, which is very effective for a particular student to learn.
For 3rd year or 7th semester, your are eligible for internship or college placements 145 company came to college and highest package is 10.5 lack per annum of Byjus company and average package is 4.5 lakh per annum overall company based. It is a good college. It is most certainly not everyone's first choice anyone would be lucky if manage to get here. But, students have to work on themselves to improve their employability apart from the curriculum. This, the institute also supports and gives a platform if someone wants to do something in arts (singing, dancing, photography, etc) or entrepreneurship. Infrastructure is good but not sufficient, there is a shortage of seats in the hostel.
I am proud to be a student of OP Jindal University. The College is blessed with brilliant staff, best infrastructure and best facilities. For any student looking seriously at their career ought to look for admission in OP Jindal University.
I had always dreamt of becoming an Engineer and hence attained admission for Btech in OP Jindal University. Admission procedure was solely based on the marks obtained in the entrance examination. It's also necessary to confront an Interview.
