Remarks
There is no need to make negative comments about the College. Because they are too supportive and stand with the students. The only drawback of the College is the water availability in the summer season. Water is not properly available at that time.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was really good. But the main problem that I faced was its outdated. But for basic knowledge it was appropriate. As a part of electronics and communication engineering it provides basics such as basic mechanical engineering, basic civil engineering, engineering graphic, mathematics as base and VHDL, Circuits theory, satellite communication, power electronics, radar and navigation, computer controlled network analysis and digital signal processing as core. Exam structure was semester wise. So i get more exposure on that.
Placement Experience
They provide accurate and job-specified placement and internship. In my batch 100s of got selection through the placement drive. The placement cell providing good attention to job and career development. They are making one on one strategies for each company that come to College for placements purposes. So the student has a good feed.
College Events
College undergoing good curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities. Rythm organized my College Union was one of the biggest cultural fest in south India on millennium years. Our tech fest siddhi, dyuthi, teranis, eximus, sristi, mechathelon are really beneficial to mankind.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is a govt. Self-financing College. So the fee structure is determined by the state government. Merit: 35000/- per annum. Management: 65000/- per annum NRI Quota : 115000/- per annum So it is not a big figure compared to other courses.
Fees and Financial Aid
College providing fee wavier schemes for students who belong economically backward. Also, different government scholarships such as merit cum means, e Grantz, azad scholarship, oec grands, scheduled scholarship are also available.
Campus Life
Excellent experience in all categories. For gender ratio girls' count is high. Three major parties are representing the students in the College. The majority of the competition that happens under the ktu are win by College.
Hostel Facilities
3500 - 4000 average room rent is required for the hostel each month. Which will include food, room, and other establishment charges such as electricity, water, and transportation. For the main hostel which is situated in the College compound, it will reduce to 2500.
Alumni/Alumna
They are really helpful to maintain the decorum of the College. Also, they provide good sponsorship to different students in different aspects. We can't able to avoid them from the proper functioning of the College.
Admission
As per the rank list published by the controller of the entrance examination I got the allocation to this institute. I got the call letter regarding this. With that call letter, I got to the College. The remaining are regular procedures.
Faculty
All faculties in my College are well qualified. The majority of them are completed their Ph.D. and the remaining are perusing it. So they have a good foundation in the knowledge. It will help us a lot. Especially in core subjects, it was really tough but their tactical approach made it easy. The practical-based lecture helps us a lot.
