Best college in thane. Students in Apsit are very proud of their college they help in making college better Faculty supports the students College administration is very supportive. Our students council team is very active.

Course Curriculum Overview

According to evolving technology in computer science the curriculum of Mumbai University need to get changed but to learn any course we need to understand the basic fundamentals which we get to know in detailed. In Engineering there are 2 unit test which consists of 20 marks each and University exam consists of 80 marks including practical labs, internal assessment and term work which includes the assignments, practical write ups these all marks are added in our results.

Placement Experience

Placement of our college is growing every year by providing quality of teaching and training of students. Tcs, LTI, infosys, camgemini, cognizant are the recruiters in our college Aptitude training is held in order to get placement Various courses are available so that students should get adapt to the evolving technology

College Events

Ojus the Cultural and sports events are organized by our college inter and intra Exalt Technical events are also organized Participation is very exciting and enthusiastic Students enjoy these events

Education is a bit expensive camparative to other colleges as our college provides Ac class rooms lab, smart leaning etc Fees structure consist of tution and development fees College provide fees payment in installments

College provide 1000 rupees coupan to students seeking 90+ attendance Coupans can be redeemed in college canteen and stationary. No loan facility provided Ebc provided by government students of economic backward class can be benefited Students coming from outskirts take benefit of Punjab Rao deshmukh scholarship 3000 rs to hostel students

Apsit silks is one of the most important factor of this college providing various courses which are not in the curriculum and it is free of cost Example : Nvidia, Paloalto, Oracle Not only for computer but for other branches also particular courses are available Cricket football and many other games teams are there in college

Hostel Facilities

College doesn't have hostel Students from outskirts rent a sharing flats which is not that costly in college area 2000-4000 per student Canteen Provides tiffin service to students 3000 per month. Students from outskirts are increasing and in coming years college is going to have it's hostel facility.

Yes they are very helpful and kind. Particular in our branch placement plays an important role. Students in 4th year have already got placed in various companies they help us a lot by sharing their experience how to tackle aptitude interview and how to prepare for it What kind of technology is needed various kinds of questions are answered by them which help us lot

Admission

For engineering entrance we need to give MH CET I scored 86 in exam and applied for CAP process to take admission in Engineering college. I listed many colleges which I preferred, according to marks I got A. P shah institute of technology computer branch

Faculty in AP shah institute of technology is experienced and well qualified Teaching skills are up to the mark Makes use of Smart boards so that students can refer these after at any time Interaction with students is good

Honest review if you wanna opt for this college

Likes

The girls to boy ratios is good, we get to see all girls equal contributing in the college
The faculty is good, they are very helpful and give good guidance
The boys and girls common room is good to get together with friends to chill and study

Dislikes

Faculty being good they are sassy and might ignore for a time to teach you that not everything will be entertained
The principal is kinda rude and his speech is too long
Well other activities like sports isn't support properly

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem students are eligible for placement Companies visited are tcs and few others i don't remember their names The average package is 5 lpa and the highest is 13 lpa Mostly 80-90% of students gets placement as they do a placement training for us amd prepares us for the placement exams and interviews and all My personal plan is to go abroad for higher studies but i am going to sit for placement if i get good package then i might not go to abroad for higher studies

I really liked the infrastructure of the college its very nice and has good environment .
DPCOE is famous for its sports , it has massive turf where kids of 4 to 5 age has their matches
Also i like my department , as i am an automobile engineering we need most practical knowledge , this college offers a big workshop just for us an also yearly event for automobile students . Also clubs are there which has reputation of national rank

Dislikes

I kind of felt that faculty can be biased sometimes also do not care what and how we want to study .
Watchman can be little rude sometimes , also informing that their are exam coming in next week are to be informed at leat 10 days before. I have a suggestion of preparing acadamic calender of year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

College campus, it is big, not much conjusted, good nature friendly
Freedom upto some level, no uniforms, no ID compulsion unless it is an exam
Events,every now and then there are events in college, cultural club is also too good here👍

Dislikes

Faculty is not much well qualified or well trained I would say
Hectic curriculum, boring schedules and quite unlivable
Labs and classrooms are too old, infrastructure is very old

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student,and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

Dislikes

Campus is huge but is mostly empty need of development.
Need of infrastructure and sports facility for students.
Need of contact no. Of emergency contact of the staff.

Placement Experience:

I talk with most of the senior and faculty and placement cell start of 3 rd year you will get internship opportunities and and in 4 th year you will get placement opportunity. But senior told me off campus placement preparation must be go on you will find good opportunity. Highest package is 12 lpa and average is 4 lpa is good for freshers.

Easy Money

Likes

Rhythm. It’s a cultural fest that this college hosts and it is the only time of the year where there’s a vast majority of events you could participate in.
TECHITHON. It’s a Tech fest that this college hosts and it has tech events which encourages students to grow and learn more as this aligns with our course.
Friends. The last and only good thing about this college I’d say are the friends I’ve made across the years.

Dislikes

Infrastructure. I’m not really a fan of the infrastructure that is being provided by this college.
Campus. The campus has many such areas that cannot be accessed by students and god knows for what reason.
Stupid Rules. One stupid rule i can think of is that students are not allowed to use their cell phones in the campus nor can the students use their headphones without being on their phones despite it being an Engineering college this makes no sense.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course currently is in high demand and this is the course which offers the highest percentage of placements. Computer Engineering is the fundamental course one could pursue if they want to get into technology. We currently have 2 Internal Exams in each semester which prepares us well for the semester.

my college is in rural division so i liked the nature and environment of the college most and the college is have rural position and college have bus facility so all the student from poor family are is admitted in this college
my college have bus facility for the students
college have good campus in rural area and the college is good

college have some students water issue for drinking

Our course is the most important thing in learning and for growth, but the way my college is handling it , is far too better to be compared. Every week an exam is arranged for each chapters, Mcq's , theory and oral-based exams are arranged.

Hello, The infrastructure of the college is top class.
Their are multiple events in the college every month.
The faculty of the college are also well experienced as well as very friendly.

Dislikes

There are no AC in all the class only some of the class have AC

Placement Experience:

The placement percentage in my college is nearly 70-80%. The minimum package offered is 2.5 LPA and the highest is nearly 33 LPA . The average package is 4-5 LPA. Many companies vists are college as our college is NAAC accredited which has a grade of A+.

Staffs were quite supportive and helpful.
Good faculty. They helped throughout semester and taught well.
There were placements from beginning of 4th year. So, it was quite good for me.

Dislikes

I don't liked the college campus. It's under construction. Hope will become better some day.
No events , no tech fests. No excitement
Good companies offering higher packages not visited college.

Placement Experience:

Companies started sending their placements form to college groups from starting of the 7th semester. For particular branches, particular companies visited. Many companies send their placement forms this year. But each selected a max of 2-3 candidates only. In the strength of 76, 15 got placed on campus this year. Selection rates or placements criteria were too low.

Completely Honest and unbiased Review of A.P. Shah as a student studying for three years now

I applied to 2 colleges LTCOE and AP Shah Institute of Technology since these were the only two with fair reputation and had Data Science in their curriculum, my first preference was LTCOE since it was nearby my home but unfortunately I wasn't able to get in the college due to their higher cutoffs I got my second college of choice. I got accepted by my CET scores but JEE scores are also valid for admission. The admission process was pretty simple, fill a few forms pay the first amount of fees and you're good to go....Read More
