The calicut university campus is one of the largest academic residential campus in the state of Kerala. It houses 30+ departments and there are provisions for higher studies as well. There are very good hostel facilities for men and women and there's an international hostel as well.
Course Curriculum Overview
The current curriculum is a brand new one.There are lots of scope for becoming a journalist.The entire course is divided into 4 semesters.And there will be exams after each semester.There are practical and theory papers as well.
Placement Experience
There are various nationals and international companies provide placement assistance within the campus.They'll have a walk in interview to test the skill of the students and they'll be placed with striking salaries after the end of the course.
College Events
We celebrate almost all the national and international events and holidays in the campus.There will be seminars and paper presentation along with other entertaining activities.In this programme, almost all students will be participating
Fee Structure And Facilities
There are merit seats and self financing seats within the thirty courses provided in the campus.The fee structure of the merit seats are among the cheapest in the country.Moreover over there are scholarships for students.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
There are good scholarship facilities offered in the university campus by the state and central government.Students belonging to economically backward class and minorities will be getting sufficient amount of money for their studies and there are fee refund as well.
Campus Life
Calicut university is always known for their achievements in extracurricular activities.There's an entire department for physical education and a spacious ground and stadium.There is a well equipped gymnasium along with an international standard swimming pool.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel in the Calicut university campus is comparatively good.The students will be provided with individual rooms with all the basic amenities.There are electricity and water round the clock.The 5 building blocks are equipped with high speed wifi network.
Alumni/Alumna
Obviously, all the alumnae of calicut university campus are helping and broad minded.The seniors are very helpful in completing the academic activities as well as the other extracurricular activities in the campus.There are many alumni associations for various departments.
Admission
There's an entrance exam with a wide array of syllabus and will be consisting of general knowledge questions and current affairs.The top 100 will be shortlisted and there will be a walk in interview.I was rank 2.The top 25 will be admitted to the campus
Faculty
All faculties here are well qualified.There are NET holders, assistant professors, M.Phil scholars and Doctorate holders to take classes.Their classes are up to the mark and they are very experienced as well.

Simply because PTM is a GOVT COLLEGE placements are done through PSC exams and interviews. Campus placements are applicable to students who are NET holders. I am a NET holder and now i am pure my B Ed course.

Best college in tvm to pursue MA english in tvm. Better than other two famous colleges in Tvm central. Govt arts college stand out with an equillibrium maintained both in academics and other fields. Last year the first two ranks in MA English in kerala university is received by my seniors.

There are no negative remarks about this college. it provides you with good infrastructure and good faculty and it is very good college to complete your MA from. The fees could be a bit expensive but it is worth paying.

And a excellent Techers, Excellent Infrastructures. Farook College make me a Good student. More than a good Human Being. The College is a Heaven for the students.
