I would say good vibes all around as a positive remark. It's ao good that aome students becomes teacher after completing their graduation to be in the college. As a negative remark I would say that they should increase the standard of the companies they are calling for placements and also should put less focus on theory.
Well definitely the labs of the college are perfect undoubtedly. However I think there is a little unnecessary focus on theory which can be skipped and more practicals should replace it. However, the faculties try to cover every topic with equal importance and clarity.
Well there are no limits to how many interviews a student can attend and that's what makes it the no. 1 college in town. However I would suggest that instead of inviting 50 smaller companies college administration should focus on raising the bar of MNCs getting invited.
The one and only Techn-o-Tech, republic day, independence day, Gandhi jayanti, Special celebrations of sports day, yoga day, and many more. Also we celebrate several regional festivals with equal importance.
I would say considering the facilities of college that it's feasible. After scholarship I had to 24000 per semester and the other backward caste students had other special scholarships so I would say that they can offer some written scholarships for talented students but otherwise they are going good.
I have availed the scholarship which was given to me during the time of admission on the basis of my CGPET ranking. My ranking was below 12000 all over state and that's why I was offered a scholarship of 96000 on the whole course fees.
As mentioned earlier, labs are perfect. Ground is good, gardens needs some more conditioning but it's ok. Gender ratios other than mechanical branch are almost equal in evey branch. No partiality or discrimination ever noticed on the basis of anything.
I did not choose for the Hostel facility as I was the resident of the city. However my friends used to stay in the hostel and as evry college hostel they also serve equally pathetic food. I personally didn't liked the food at all. They definitely need to work on that area.
I personally was not benefitted with the Alumni network but I must say that the TPO sir regularly tries to call more and more alumnis to boost up the confidence of final year students. So i must say of they can improve the network definitely it will help the students for getting placed in good companies.
The admission process was quite easier. I chose this college as it was the only best in town. Then I put up my entrance exam ranks and I got scholarship also. There was a small interaction with the HOD of Maths Department and he told me all the pros and cons of the college.
80% of the faculties in the college are very polite, friendly and guiding. The rest 20 are not bad but due to a slight age difference they are not so much dissolved with young students. Every teacher in the college has one very good quality of not at all discriminating between any student on any basis.
From the 5th semester students are eligible to appear for campus placements where they are offered good packages from various companies according to their grades and overall performance in the past years. Students having the desired calibre for getting the designation are given upper hands. Personally, I have no such fixed plans after my graduation. I might try for corporate jobs or pursue further education or try in the defence sector.
Placements rules are different for every programmes and department. usually, PRSU doesn't provide placements by itself in my knowledge. For my course and my department, we have to do an internship for completion of our final semester and those are mostly paid ones and following your skills, capabilities and knowledge you get placement offers with different packages. According to the University official site highest paid package in my course was around 1.92 lakh per annum. My plans after getting a degree for opting for further studies in my course
The placement of the college is good enough. Students become eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester. Companies like Wipro, byjus, HCL, Adani, axis bank, etc come for the offers, The average package is 3.5 lakh per annum, The highest package is 12 lakh per annum, Near about 50-60% of student get placement while some opt for M.tech.
Good gymnasium with good working equipment and a good trainer too Canteen is great too & maintained with proper hygiene
Well there were 2 factors , A)I always had an interest in metallurgy and B)this college was only private university in Chhattisgarh ,who was providing that course. Well I had my jee rank score and I secured above 80% and then directly approached college .there they held a small interview . It wasn't that hard
I have got this college on the basis of all India entrance exam in counseling held commonly in new delhi from where I got aiims raipur in between 7 aiims institute in India as I have got 668 rank in all India entrance exam
There is no placement in the college as it is a medical institute it provides only the clinical exposure in the hospital and let learn all those work which needs to be done in the hospital as a nursing care provider only they will kept u for some months on contractual basis and at the end of year it provides u an internship of 6 months
OPJU provides various engineering courses like civil engineering ,electrical engineering ,mechanical engineering etc. I was required to have minimum of 45% aggregate marks in my class 12th examination. Admission in 0PJU is based on the performance in JEE mains or Chhattisgarh pre-engineering test or OP Jindal University entrance test.
Yes, OPJU provides internship, however the stipend is based or it may vary based on your bro project work. Jindal power steel Ltd is one of the companies that provide internships and placements in 0PJU. Various other renowned companies provides placement opportunities in the college.
First I applied online at 0PJU school of management with an application fee of Rs.500. After that a merit list was announced and the shortlisted candidates were asked to appear for the counselling. After checking the eligibility and verification of documents I got my provisional admission letter issued and after that I was required to submit my fees.
OBJU provides great internships. Many of our seniors as well have done internships in various renowned companies with a stipend as high as 20,000 to 25,000. The college also provides various placements for the final year students and more than 70% of the students got placed in companies like axis bank, Kotak bank etc
I am proud to be a student of OP Jindal University. The College is blessed with brilliant staff, best infrastructure and best facilities. For any student looking seriously at their career ought to look for admission in OP Jindal University.
I had always dreamt of becoming an Engineer and hence attained admission for Btech in OP Jindal University. Admission procedure was solely based on the marks obtained in the entrance examination. It's also necessary to confront an Interview.
Firstly for getting admission, you need to apply for the desired course either online or offline. Then for some coursers like B.Ed., entrance exam is mandatory while for other previous exam results are checked. For some courses, interview is also taken.
As my college was a government college, getting placements was very easy and Als at many reputed companied. I am placed at Airtel Services right now. Other recruiters are BSNL, Coca Cola and some other universities and hospitals.
