College of Engineering Sciences & Technology Lucknow, B-Tech(It)

Reviewed on Nov 14, 2015

Remarks

It is more of management college not a student college. Management never listen the student and they didn't follow even.Every one have there own statement ready for any student problem. No good facility provided by college.

Entrance Preview

UPTU, scored 27000 and i got IT(Which i wanted to do since i make decision to do B-Tech) in this college of Lucknow on that rank which is just 6hr journey from My hometown Varanasi.

Internships Opportunities

Internship was not good. Nothing to learn apart time pass.

Placement Experience

College arranged a Job fair, but it was full of BPO, so it was not good.

College Events

Just a formal festival, which not not very big and well planned.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Hostel was good but the fees is quite high as compared to the facilities.regarding food it was okay not very bad.Hostel--6/10Fees--3/10Mess Food--/10

Fees and Financial Aid

No there was no Loan or scholarships available.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life is always good if you have good guys there.About Ratio it was 3:10 (F:M) Extra curricular activity was not very much, lab is good, they have few students which like to participate into robotics and debates, but college never insist to do that. It's totally depends on student wish.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior student is good in helping in any form. About Alumni, it is not very good. Seniors have good interaction with juniors and have good bonding.

Faculty

Few faculty was good and few faculty were not. Most of them are newly passed out from Other B-Tech colleges.

“A Good College for Learning and Growth”

Likes

Being a CSE student I get the opportunity to learn about computer science and improve my skills The college experience also helps me understand the importance of practical knowledge

Dislikes

The placement support could be improved especially by providing more opportunities for students to get internships and jobs in reputed companies

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course covers important subjects related to computer science and programming. It gives basic technical knowledge, but more practical learning is needed. Exams are held every semester, along with internal tests and practicals. Some subjects are easy, while others need more preparation. Overall, the course is good, but adding more real-world projects would help students learn better.

"The Place for Unlocking Potential"

Likes

Firstly the environment is what I liked the most when I first joined the college cause this type of greenery and atmosphere is very less found
Secondly it would be the seniors , the seniors are really helpful at times of need and are really friendly
Thirdly it would be how the education system work , there isn't an overload of assignment or projects on the student , so it's very easy to focus on our studies

Dislikes

Personally it would be a long distance for me ...cause travelling by bus consumes a lot of time and energy
The thing I disliked the most would be the people around me and their way of thinking cause I just don't like the way they converse . I don't know about a few of them but most of the people I met are really sweet and soft spoken
Lastly it would be the fee structure for me ...cause being a private institution it can offer a more affordable fee structure

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason I chose B. Tech in data science and artificial intelligence is because nowadays we know how AI has its influence over almost every field and every company requires a candidate who is well known about AI . Particularly I opted for data science because I wanted to be a data analyst from the start cause it just fascinates me about how differently we can see and arrange data in so many ways and also the market value of being a data analyst is quite high nd not easily found

Highly busy schedule of college timings.
There can be delay in examinations from its expected date.

Placement Experience:

Placement in GCET is one of the good In greater Noida colleges. The average package of this college is 4-6 L.P.A. Companies like TCS, J.P Morgan, Josh Technology, L.G etc visited every year. Mass recruiters like wipro, infosys, capegemini also visited every year. About 85% students every year placed from the college. After getting degree my plans are getting very good placemnt from this college.
