Remarks

My college is very good towards discipline and there is also harmony in the campus. The bad thing about my college is that they should bring more companies to the college and not only that they should also provide proper training to the students for particular companies.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course Electronics and Telecommunication is very good in terms of curriculum. It has a both theoretical and practical concepts. The exam is pretty tough as Nagpur University (my college university) has poor marking scheme. It is tough to score good marks without a sure shot preparation. The exam is of 100 marks out of which 80 marks is written and 20 marks is practical.

Placement Experience

2.5

The placements are somewhat a weak point of my college.A lot of companies do visit my campus but they are mostly BPOs.The number of core companies for each branch is very low.the college doesn't provide any internship. The major companies in which the students are eligible are TCS, Amazon, Persistent, Collabera, Infocepts and many more.

College Events

3.5

The major events celebrated in the college annually is Ashwamedh. In it activities like singing, dancing, fashion show, talent search, sports activities are organised. At department level also each department organises their particular event for the students.A lot of students participate in them and win prizes.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for Electronics and Telecommunication is Rs 98000 per annum. The fee for different branches are different. There is also scholarship for the SC/STs and they have have pay minimal fee of RS 1500 per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not availed the loan facility neither I was applicable for any scholarship as I was from management quota. My friends have availed the loan facility but it from the banks, the college have minimal role in it.The scholarship are for SC/ST and for TFWS students.

Campus Life

4.5

The extracurricular activities are good. The sports are organised at both department level and college level.Major sports are Cricket, football, badminton, Volleyball, tug of war.The labs are well equipped with instrument. There is absolutely no ragging in the campus and there is no discrimination based on gender, ethnicity, race or religion.

Hostel Facilities

2

The hostels are quite good. The rooms are spacious and there are many facilities in it like recreation room, indoor games. The rooms are on allotted on sharing basis.Like there are two option available for 2 bed and for 3 bed.The fee has to be paid in two or thee installments. The fee for 2 bed is 65000 and for 3 bed is 67000.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni of the college are time to time invited in the campus.I have interacted with one of the alumni. He was also struggling to get placed in the college but now he owns a company and visits college for placements.I got motivated by him as I learned that not every company is for everyone.

Admission

I chose this course because it had a lot of opportunities in both the core field and the IT field.I got the admission in the college on the basis of my merit list based on 10th and 12th marks and JEE entrance marks. For management quota student the admission is direct but for TFWS or other there is merit list.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of the college are good and well educated. Most of them are pursuing PhD and some of them have completed their PhD.There are a number of faculty who are passionate about teaching and they are in constant effort to learn and teach something new to the student.
