Remarks

The college infrastructure was all good and the environment was best suited for students. All the teacher's are capable of giving a good knowledge to the students. But the absence of faciltity made a bad image for the same to me. My final words are to have

Entrance Preview

After my school days i had an enterance exam named: GUJCET, now it is called JEE. I got 60% in gujcet exam as i always think to choose a different way from all others so i decided not to go in mechanical engineering, so my next interest was in chemical engineering.About admission process, it was online process held all over the state, just need good marks to be selected in respected college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course was good enough to be a part of research programmes. The college had all good qualified faculties but their interest to teach was little less. Some faculties were not even known to us, for what subjects they are present but overall the teaching was good.

Internships Opportunities

The internship experience was the worst, not a single company came for our chemical branch. May be as no one wanted to take responsibility towards such process.

Placement Experience

2

Not a single company came for our chemical branch. I had a poolcampus at some other institute informed by our college, but that also was just a waste of time, as no one from our college selected. That company was gnfc they were offering 3 lakh, but with 5 year bond, which didnt suited for most of us.

College Events

4

College conducted many technical and cultural festivals, and that i enjoyed very much. Our festivals included techfest, chemvap, that were celebrated grandly with dj at night also. Festival included many competitions and prize distribution for encouragement.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My college had hostel faciltity after my 3rd year, so i was living in pg as i started my college days. The rent of pg was 3000/month divided into 6 heads living in 2bk room the area we lived was very good, i cant forgot that places where i spend my 4 years. We cooked food and in all enjoyed very much. The hostel fee was only 100/month, but i liked living in pg so i didnt go to hostel.

Fees and Financial Aid

Nothing like scholarship, was given to no one. and as the fees of government college was very low (3000/year) no need of taking loan for the same.I once awarded 500rps to score 1st in 2nd semester, this may be called as a scholarship for the students.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life was good gender ratio was about 1/15, may be as it was a chemical engineering branch not much in extracurricular activity, only at the festival time little competitions are held. Competitions were on presentation, chemo car racing, quizz and many more economic status of our college was good as it was a government institute. Nothing about politics had happened there in my 4 years.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students were all good, i had good respect for them. They helped me whenever i had some difficulties in study or social activities. I spend many time with them as they shared many experience from there life, which gace me inspirations.

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th Semester and companies start visiting at that time. The no. of companies that visit are around 30+ and the highest package offered last time was around 25+ LPA. The average package is 7-8LPA. Some of the companies that visit are Accenture,TCS, Infosys, JP Morgan(students got placed from a Hackathon)

Placement Experience:

Placement is there and around 92-95% students get placed every year which is quite good in current economy. Highest package offered was 12LPA which is decent for aa college openend less than a decade ago. Average package is around 6LPA to 7LPA. There is no restrictions in semester in which a student can apply for placement but usually 3rd and 4th year students are the one applying. My plan after degree is higher studies in colleges like Monash etc

At PDEU, CSE isn't that decorated stream as its more of an engineering college related to energy and therefore companies like Reliance, Adani Green, GSFC and others have made tie-ups with it. However, many IT companies too now have associated with our placements cell and average for our stream is currently around 7 LPA.
