Remarks

No negative remarks. My college has improved a lot over the year. They've grown exponentially for the benefit of student only. Constant updates have been made to the college policies to make life at apsit better for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course structure is followed as per Mumbai University standards. My course was pretty well designed mainly focused on technical as well as theoritcal part of the course. Labs we're conducted regularly and proper assignment focused on overall learning we're provided with some difficult problems to solve as well. If balanced day properly it was an awesome way to live college life

Placement Experience

Various top IT companies visited my college for placements. Companies such as TCS, Accenture,LTI and many more. They also try to provide internship to students who perform well in exams which helps to bridge the gap of college and work life difference.

College Events

4.5

There are 2 festivals in a year one is technical and another is cultural fest. Both of the fests are quite happening and help students to be creative and enjoy some free days of studies which are required in a busy course

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes fee structure is quite affordable. Per year fee is around 1. 3 lakh INR with 8% increase annually. All the services provided by the college fee structure is quite viable and best fit for students.

Fees and Financial Aid

This can be asked to Dean by writing a letter. And the administration will decide whether to give scholarship or not to the students. Performance of student matter for getting scholarship. Loan availability is also provided but I don't know about it in detail

Campus Life

4.5

Various clubs are there in college to explore the creativity inside the student. Regular workshops are conducted on the mental health issues. one on one counseling session is also provided to students.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes alumni network is quite strong and good for students studying at apshah. Myself being a alumni any one can reach me for any doubts regarding my college. The over all culture at apsit is to help each other to grow better and make better future.

Admission

JEE Mains exams we're conducted right after 12th exams which gave us rank to get into various engineering colleges. Depending on the rank a list of colleges I applied in and got into ap shah in second list.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty over at apshah is quite experienced and open to discussion and help out students anytime. They give their 100% to make you understand concepts. Assignments are personally designed by teacher and they help out if required.

My perspective about my college!!

Likes

Such a huge campus and it is located not far from the city so bus and autos are always available.
Our canteens serves Misal Pav which is next level.
For a city like Amravati and a college like ours, having a tech fest is a dream but since 2022, we have been hosting a tech event called Techlons.

Dislikes

Crowd is not that amazing as most students are non-serious over here.

Placement Experience:

TCS trains us in the third year and L&T Infotech and TCS are the ones who hired students. Almost half the students were taken by these two companies with an annual salary of 6 lakhs or so. For a freshers to work in such companies is a privilege and I am glad, we get this opportunity at our college.

A Brief Theory Round Of Aissms College Of Engineering

Likes

The campus is quite big and there are proper laboratories for every subject , also the faculty is quite helpful and helps student to settle up and get along so that the teaching and doubt interaction is built up from the starting
We have metro station right outside the gate of college so the travelling is quite simple
It's also good to have a college stationary right inside the campus and with discount too!

Dislikes

The benches are small which kind off makes the students uncomfortable to sit for more than 2 hours in that space
Canteen hygiene is not maintained at all
There's no underground parking for students and lack of space for parking of two wheelers

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Aissms College Of Engineering in comparison to the other one institute of Information technology. I personally have even saw seniors getting placements when they were in placement round room. And looking at all the boards the college has put up and I can definitely says that the college does get placements and companies do come

Living and Learning at IIT Bombay: My Review

Likes

Faculty and teaching assistants are so friendly and are with great experience and wisdom.
Other than education many other activities take place like NCC, NSS, sports competitions, inter IIT competitions, etc.,
Ragging, student and gender abuse are strictly banned

Dislikes

sometimes we have to work till midnight for any tech teams, any assignments, etc., if the submission is not done in proper time. But faculty don't keep any pressure or stress on students to do certain tasks

Placement Experience:

Job placements starts from 3rd year 2 nd semester or 4th year 1st semester. Many Multi National Companies, like Amazon, Google, Sony, etc.,, come to hire students. Almost 70 % of the students get jobs. Atfer completing graduation, few people begin their startups and other businesses with the knowledge gained in the university.

Some departments here were really great like ETC and Mechanical with a unique culture going on
AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

Dislikes

The Students section not really tends to help ,as i saw many financially weak students facing the problem of 1 time payment fees and their request for part payments option is always rejected
Infrastructure is decent but in summer season the water coolers are just useless there ,no cooler will give you cold water

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember

I applied to 2 colleges LTCOE and AP Shah Institute of Technology since these were the only two with fair reputation and had Data Science in their curriculum, my first preference was LTCOE since it was nearby my home but unfortunately I wasn't able to get in the college due to their higher cutoffs I got my second college of choice. I got accepted by my CET scores but JEE scores are also valid for admission. The admission process was pretty simple, fill a few forms pay the first amount of fees and you're good to go....Read More
