B Tech in Andhra University

The campus placements in the core branch are very less. We want our management to invite core companies for conducting campus recruitment.

Andhra University curriculum for B. Tech covers all topics of core subjects. The syllabus is comparatively vast to other universities. Students have their choice to select the elective subjects based on their interests. Industrial visits are provided in second year. Labs are extraordinary with good equipment. Besides the knowledge provided by faculty we have to go extra effort to get industry orientation for campus placement.

Our department prepares a merit list of students and invite the companies for conducting campus drive. After written test, the shortlisted candidates will attend group discussion and interview. Andhra University conducts lot of technical and cultural events every year. Techincal events: 1. International conferences 2. Tech fest 3. Workshops on ML & IOT 4. Siemens SDC 5. Dassault Catia Cultural events: 1. Department days 2. Anushandan 2020 All students of Au and students from other colleges participate in the events.

Fee Structure is feasible with Rs. 10000 per year.If the student is eligible for fee reimbursement, then he has to pay inly admission fee of Rs. 9000 only. The annual fee is reimbursed by the AP government. For 4 years of engineering, the student has to pay 9000 if he is eligible for fee reimbursement. Else he has to pay 49000 for four years.

Yes. I have opted for jnanabhumi scholarship. The student eligibility is based on their family income, caste and attendance. The scholarship amount varies based on various factors. Hostelers get more amount than day scholars. It also depends on family income and caste

Gender ratio: 34% females and 66% male students in our department.5 to 8% of Students are from other states within india and some are from other countries. We have various clubs for singing, dancing, english club and AU united club for conducting extracurricular activities in College. Labs are extraordinary. Every year, each department organises their department day and conducts sports, competitions and cultural activities.They are good and organised

No. I'm a day scholar. But i can review about the hostels. The room size is moderate and sufficient for two students. Hostels are really good. The food is ok. Electricity is available for almost all the day. The hostel environment is good for playing and studying. We have 6 blocks for students of different branches and different years

Senior- Junior interaction is good in our campus. Our seniors shares their experiences and gives their advices in academic and project aspects. Alumini meets are organised by AU once for every two years and students got the chance to interact with our alumni network.

After completion of Diploma, getting a good rank in AP E-CET is required for admission in college for B. Tech course. I cracked AP Ecet 2018 with 1st rank. I opted Andhra University in counselling because it has good reputation and it is best choice for me within vizag, experience faculty, good campus. And the fee structure is very nominal with Rs. 10000 per annum. The college got wide alumini network, excellent labs, smart classrooms, nice campus with big grounds. After counselling, the seats are alloted based on ranks in Ecet. In the alloted college we have to submit our documents before paying admission fee.

Faculty of AUCE are well experienced and involved in research work. In mechanical department there are 12 lecturers with qualification of M. Tech and Ph.D in their respective fields. The teaching standard is less than what i expected but faculty are good at clearing the concepts
