All over the university is good and very well maintained in terms of infrastructure, security and facilities that are provided. Management is good and listens to the students and help as much as they can.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is relevant. Learning is very good. We learn through ppts, practicals and with the proper guidance of our teachers which makes it as a plus point. Industry visits and outside visits are done. They take students to, Industry visits, trips and exhibitions for details learning of the subject.
Placement Experience
Interior design course is new and placements will take place in 2021. But the university provides the internship in its 6th semester. University is having tie ups with pepperfry, jaipur rugs, livespace and many more. And also having tie ups with industries like PEDA, Ashre, ND and IID. University is preparing platform for the students by linking up with such industrues.
College Events
Many events and cultural activities are done in the university such as Tech Fest, Youth Festival, holi event, seminars, teachers day, departmental activites, star nights. Tech fest and youth frstival is the biggest of all 1000 plus students comes in the university and take part in activities. Many bollywood stars, punjabi singers and actors comes in the university and the gathering is very huge.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is feasible because the course itself is one of the expencive courses. Mode of payments are net banking and through cash also. There are no extra charges but additional 10,000 rupees were kept and it is refundable. Yes, university provides the transparency.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, I have not opted for any scholarship. But yes university offers the scholarship opportunities for the students.
Campus Life
Campus life of the students is very good in terms of activities, events and parties. Sports day is celebrated in the university not only for students but for faculty also. Many competition held in the university. The ration of the students is 50 50. There are students from different countries such as Africa, Nepal and many more. Labs facilities is very good and there are almost every equipments that are needed. Fresher party is done in very large scale for students.
Alumni/Alumna
Interior design course started in 2018 so alumni in our department. They first batch will passout in 2021.
Admission
I searched for many colleges and universities to take admission. I came to know about Chandigarh University. I searched about the university and the office of CU was there in my town. I asked about the courses and fee structure. They guided me so well about the courses that university offers. I opted for interior design. I always wanted to study this field start my career.
Faculty
Faculty of the department is good. They guide us very well. They give us complete knowledge of the subject through practicals. They invite resource person for better knowledge of the subject and conduct workshops also. Faculty have the proper knowledge and hold on their subject.
