Experience of college life

Overall the college management is below average level. The management must be Improved a lot.

Course curriculum is pretty good. It helps to improve the skills that an engineer must posses. This course is framed by Anna university. My course curriculum includes subjects from civil, mechanical and electrical departments. So it helps to groom in all possible fields. Industrial visits are organized in food processing industries and TNAU college.

Tier 2 companies visit my college for placement drives. My college conducts both on-campus and off-campus placement drives. It helps even students from other colleges participate in placement drive. Companies like wipro, infosys, RDX concretes, amazon, etc visited my college.

my college conducts blood camps, symposiums of various departments. We have club activities that is called as Rotaract club of RVSTCC, where various social activities take place to develop the social life of students. The participation is very large in number. No other cultural events due to some violent acts.

For Government quota - Rs. 50000 For Management quota - Rs. 125000 For SC scholarship - Free Mode of payments accepted by my college are by direct cash or DD payment. No additional fee for admission but every year one must pay a some of Rs. 8000 for placement training. Of course my college offers fee breakdown for poor students. The fee payment is available in two installments for each semester.

Yes, I have opted for scholarship through my college under state government scholarship schemes for college students. The eligible criteria to apply for scholarship is, 1. Students from BC caste background must be admitted in college through government quota with family's annual income of Rs.200000 2. Students from SC caste background admitted either by government quota or manage to quota with family's annual income of Rs. 250000

Campus life is pretty OK. The gender ratio is quite uncommon. We have certain restrictions in our college campus. Workshops are conducted which enables students to improve their quality standards. My college partners with IIT alumnus to help students develop their technical skills. There is politics in our college as we have students from other states especially Kerala.

Yes, I do reside in hostel. Hostel room are pretty good and in fact the hostel structural design is far better than the college structure. But the only drawback is the hostel restroom are not maintained properly. Otherwise the hostel is completely good. The hostel rooms are shared among respective departments.

The college seniors are really friendly with us. We feel like brothers and sisters. Our college alumnus help us in technical fields.

My college includes both inexperienced and experienced faculties. Some posses good teaching qualities and some doesn't. Most of the faculties are really dedicated in their work. They help to improve your skills relating to industry-experience. But the only drawback in my college is that they delay up the salary of the faculties, because of this reason most of our best faculties left my college.
