As an autonomous college, the college designs its curriculum itself with the help of qualified personalities. College has both internal and external exams. Also the college gives many options to choose what the students want to do when it comes to internal exams. In external exams student have to give theory/written exam.

College organises special summits and conclave for campus placement. It also provides chance to do internships under different organizations in academic year and these internships have extra credits also.

College organises different events and fests at the end of the year in December. All departments in the college acts as a separate unit during this time. Each department in the college has its special event. There are about 30 events which goes on for a week or more than that. Also college organises dance competitions,drama competitions, sports competitions etc. For students. Students from different colleges take part in these events.

Fee structure is dependent upon which course the student has choose. As it is public sector college and not a private institute the fee are reasonable ranging from 2000-20000. Some courses which are started and funded by college only can cost you more than 20000,upto 1lakh also. You have to pay fees on annual basis and not for full duration of the course

College has many scholarships for the students on merit basis as well as on caste basis. College has its own scholarships along with central and state government scholarships

College campus is very vast as well as beautiful. There are trees all over the campus. There's a botanical garden in the campus. There is a huge playground, a basketball ground, badminton court, football ground and open spaces for students for discussion. There are total 3 canteens in the college campus.

Fergusson college has total 6 hostels out of which 2 are for girls only and 4 are for only boys. Capacity of boys hostel is around 400. There are double sharing rooms and single sharing rooms for boys. Capacity of girls hostel is around 200.Girls have triple sharing and more rooms.Hostel has hot water for bath, clean washrooms and water purifiers also

College seniors are very friendly. There is not a single case of ranging or such things in the campus. You can ask anything to your seniors

Fergusson college is one of the most renowned institutions in our country. I want to pursue psychology degree so I decided to take admission in Fergusson college for BA because the college has excellent psychology department which is famous all over Maharashtra.

The faculties of the college are well qualified as well as experienced. There is 1 teacher behind every 20 student which is good number as compared to other colleges in pune or Maharashtra. Faculties use modern teaching methods for better understanding of the students and you can approach them anything if you face any difficulty.
