Remarks

This college is the first college of Jharkhand state and affordable, feasible fees are there so anyone can afford the expenses. This is the positive remarks form myself. It provides a chance to improve knowledge attitude, skills, action of students which pay ahead.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum of this agriculture follows ICAR(Indian council of Agriculture research) curriculum. The curriculum is so good for students. Exams are divided into Internal and external exam with practicals in every semester. Here, semester duration is of 6 months. It's very hectic day for us when we work in labs.for analysis of samples.

Placement Experience

2

Yes, some companies came to take placements. JSLPS, BSLPS private societies and provide stipend of 25K- 35K. Seed and fertilizers companies like syngenta came to take students. Many more students have got selected in these described companies. So many opportunities are there, so I recommend those companies who are interested to take students through placements come.

College Events

3

List of the events and cultural programs organised by our college. 1.Birsa jayanti day 2.Christmas gathering 3.Sarswati puja 4.sarhul parv 5.college foundation day 6.Almuni day 7. Annual Sports day In this lists, Christmas gathering and sarswati Puja are organised in large scale, And other programs are also organised in good way. each and every students get chance to participate in those events. And teachers, professors also participate with students with joyfully.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure of this Agriculture college is feasible. Fee structure is got divided according to category. Starting admission and registration fee of first semester is 9000 to General and Obc category and 7300 to SC and ST students. And after that, per semester 1100 for Reserved category and 2600 for unreserved. Both UG and PG fee structure are same somewhat.

Fees and Financial Aid

Here merit scholarship is provided to top 5 students in every semester. Government also provide ekalyan scholarship to reserved category students whose family earnings are less than 2 lakh and students get stipend annually.

Campus Life

3

Here, Girls are more than Boys in every year students. All students participate in sports and getting medals. Here, all diversities and religions students studied and have mutual understanding among the issues. No any discrimination are there among students, teachers. Students organised party in birthdays and had fun. Here politics is not so much influenced.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostels are provided to students by college. Here, hostels infrastructure and facilities are good. Hostel campus are neat and clean. Electricity and water are 24*7. Here, single and double bedded rooms are there. 300 rs to be paid to college for the hostel and mess charges have to pay by students.

Alumni/Alumna

On the Alumni meet, seniors students came and participate alumni meet and better interaction is being held. They share their experiences in college. They guides us through social medias. So most of the students get the ideas, what to do in their life ahead. Every year, alumni meet is organised by our college.

Admission

I got admission in this Agriculture college by qualifying JCECE ( Jharkhand combined entrance competitive examination) organized by Jharkhand state. After qualified, documents verification is done on college and then after registration process is get completed.

Faculty

2.5

The faculties of this college are qualified. All professers support us for being going ahead and achieve goals. But some faculties are not interested to share their knowledge. Most of the teachers are only focused on their salaries not sharing knowledge so, I felt very bad for this. Now a days, new professors, Teachers are providing good updated data on agriculture context. So this is the plus point for upcoming students.

the course is totally based on Agricultural practice and Agricultural produce which is eventually consumed by every person. the frequency of the exam are a bit harsh because the exams are conducted without any gap which make students very stessed during exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because of the high job opportunities in a short period of time. There are sufficient faculty members for different subjects to teach the batch strength. Faculty members are well qualified in their specific subjects. The teaching style of professors is very attractive and meaningful. In a semester there are two exams one is mid-term other is end-term with the practice of subjects. To obtain passing marks in a specific subject is not very difficult for the student who studies hard at the right time.
