The college is a very famous for it's teaching in Quality Engineering, I personally like the college very much, But would like to have many improvements in the college, Syllabus and Labs as Time is running fast into Future.
It's really Good at Teaching the course and best as per my experience.I would prefer that RC 19-20.over RC 16-17.As it involves more extra curricular activities and also involved less college time with more Better Teaching available due to less subjects.
Placements are quite Ok, As I don't have much idea about placements in college, I've heard Companies like Wipro and L-and-T, coming to our college.I think the Max package is 8lac per annum. But I suppose Civil Student don't have much placement
Happenings, Tandav, Spectrum, Pratikriya, etc Happenings is one of the oldest college events in Goa held everyyear, With New DJ and other famous people performaning, In 2019-Emiway Bantai was having a performance.Tandav is a Intercollege Event happening. With Spectrum is a technical event and Also Pratikriya
Feasible as It is a Government College, It's Max fees per semester is Approx 32, 000/- And Least fees For Students with Tution fee waiver scheme is approx 5000/ per semester and Other Backwards Castes and ST and SC are having fees of approx 17, 000/- per semester
Actually I have No idea about it, as I'm a Tution fee waiver student with the minimum fees From the college, So I don't knw much. But my friend had received a scholarship from a Company who had come to college for Corporate Social Responsibility.
The college had Good equipment but still the labs are old and Not yet been modernized.the College has its ground Called Infinity groud with sports activities happening, The college also participates in many sports.
Yess, Approx 5100/-They give a great Room with 3 people staying in one room. With mess facility which is shared by NIT Goa, Thus it's a great experience, With also wifi which is under repair these days But overall it's Great
They are really helpful when asked for advice and Help us in studies when needed. They also help us in organising events and other Extra curricular activities.Few seniors are not a good experience but overall they are good
I like the course of Civil Engineering very much, as It was a Really interesting Course, I had heard that GEC was one of the most premium colleges to study Civil Engineering so I opted out here.I cleared by GCET exam and then My according to my rank, I for got seat In my college
They are good at their teaching, And I really like their approach of teaching with more Promotion of Self study. They combined with the World class classrooms are a perfect match for a Great Learning experience
From semester 6 the students become eligible for placements. Minimum 60% (average of preceding semesters) is needed for placements. The percentage of students getting place varies every year. My plan is to get a good-paying job and also to do MTech degree. I'm in third year currently, will be going to final year in August/September once this COVID situation gets litter better. The placements have not yet started because the college has not yet reopened.
BITS has many positive points: No reservation , purely merit based admissions Freedom - 0% attendance policy Flexible curriculum-(Inter-disciplinary courses) Great Infrastructure (Well equipped labs and air-conditioned class rooms and lecture halls) Qualified Faculty Exposure to extra-curricular activites Negative points: The ever increasing Fee
