Remarks

It's a great university for those who wants to study but because of some problems like boys who wants to study but they also have to earn money for their family they can easily complete their studies while doing their job. Same for girls who want to study but because of some family restrictions if they are not allowed to go out for studying they can easily Complete their studies direct from home. The university also provide study material for the course which you have applied for by post to direct your residence address.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Although it's an open University but the subjects which requires practical classes and researches for them there is a 20 days camp helds during the course. One camp for one year. The exam process is very smooth. Exams held twice a year there are 2 sessions in one year January session and July session. So for some reasons if you have to miss your exams or you got failed in exam you can easily written exam in next 6 months. For example you got admission in July session then your exam will be held in next year june month for some reason if you'll not be able to written the exam than you shouldn't have to wait for 1 year you can written your exam in the January session exam which held on December.

Placement Experience

4

From the University when you'll get your degree then you can apply for any job in both government and private sectors. Because I'm a working man I'm teaching in a private institute so i don't have time fot a regular degree. So I took admission in this university so that i can get a degree while working for the institute because you don't need to go to college. So I'll get the degree as well as earning for my spendings. From this degree i can apply for govt exams like 1st grade govt teacher in Rajasthan.

College Events

4

Because it's an open University I don't think that these type of events are held in the university. Or maybe events are held in the university for some special courses because it offers many different courses for students so in courses like MBA there must be some management festivals were held.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible. It's not expansive different courses have different fee it depends on the study material and practical exams. If a subject for example PG from history that doesn't have practical exams so it has less fee than a subject which have practical examination. For example the detail of fee structure of my PG in geography course- Prospectus fee -100 Registration fee - 100 Development fee - 100 Course fee - 2900 Postal charges - 100 Theory exam fee - 1200 Practical camp fee - 2000 Practical exam fee - 300 . Total amount - 6800 ?

Fees and Financial Aid

Because it is a government University so it doesn't have personal scholarships. But if you are belonging to backward casts than you'll have the scholarship given by government for backward casts. And i don't know about any kind of loan available by the college.

Campus Life

4.5

In the university workshops are held for different subjects like i am persuing PG degree from geography subject which is a practical subject so that's why students must have practical knowledge for their subject. We have annually a workshop for practical knowledge in the university campus. The workshop is about 20 days for my subject.

Alumni/Alumna

It's an open university so we don't need to go to college and the most of the students are the ones who are working as well as doing their studies. So we don't have interaction with the senior students

Admission

It's an open University so that's why It's process of admission and during course study is very easy and you don't need to go to college regular so a working man who wants to study with doing his job he must have got admission in this University. The process for admission is simple you have to fill an online form and pay fee online. There is no need to go to College to submit hard copies of your documents. you just need minimum qualification for your desired course. Example - for graduation you need to have 12th pass. For PG you need a graduate degree from recognised university. It has yearly course system.

Faculty

4.5

In open University you don't need to go to college. you just have to go for practical camp if you had a subject which need practical classes. The faculty for practical camp is very good they teach you from very basic even if you are studying a new subject for first time they'll explain you that in a very easy way.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have to work on my communication skills and learn how to communicate fluently. And this course really helps me to communicate way better in English and teaches about content writing, which I am learning right now. I will say the course curriculum is good; it can be better if there is a small online lecture on Sunday, it would be great. There is no problem with the timing of the exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The entire course was divided into 9 subjects. The previous year that is the first year had 4 subjects which were more of a basic understanding which included micro, macro economics and the final year had 5 subjects. The entire Economics curriculum was carefully subjugated into parts so that students can access them easily and increase their knowledge base and information about the subject. the examination was also based upon the need and fact that requires in depth understanding of the topic. Apart from this, the examination was conducted in a timely manner and the level of paper was also moderate to difficult. The marking scheme was also as per the official scheme prescribed by the university making the entire process smooth and student friendly. I personally chose this course due to the fact that I had great amount of interest towards economy and it's functioning since class 12th. So it becomes more lucrative for me to complete my higher education in it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum aptly covers all aspects of the subject that a professional should know. It prepares a person for real world too as there is equal amount of importance given to learning of theory as well as understanding the practical implications of what have been learned. A scholastic year is divided into two semesters. One semester includes coverage of 2 syllabus units after which the CA (continuous assessment) takes place. After the CA the rest 3 syllabus units are covered and then the Semester End Examinations take place. After the SEE, there is a break of around one month followed by another semester. In all, one Semester covers 5 units and overall the curriculum covers 10 units in one scholastic year in every paper code. This system allows to efficiently understand and learn about the required material without putting too much pressure at once.
