Get admission for only getting degree don't expect much. Every 2 years alumni meeting happens in our college you can find some help from old students but don't expect much from this college. After completing no one will provide job.
Course Curriculum Overview
You have to dedicate your time in college if you want a degree from this college. Sufficient research facilities are available. Professor are very strict here so think twice before taking admission. They put a lot of pressure on student if not serious about the course.
Placement Experience
No job opportunities you can find here after completion of course. No one will help you getting job from here nor the college authority nor from any professor. So think twice before taking admission.
College Events
Many technical and cultural festivals are organised.Every 2 years alumni meeting happens in our college.The seniors are very much helpful for starting our career. I have participate in college alumni meeting.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Free structure are very less compare to other colleges in west bengal.In my case total 7122*4 =28488 is the fees of 2 year mtech course in electrical engineering. Various scholarship are available like AICTE for Mtech course.
Fees and Financial Aid
For Pg course AICTE provides scholarship. For Ug state govt provides scholarship named swami vivekananda merit cum means scholarship. For pg course scholarship you need to have valid gate score. There are option for institute fellowship also.
Campus Life
Gender ratios are good here. Cultural committee are there to organize various events if you want to be part of it you can contact concerned people. There is no discrimination based on caste sex religion.
Hostel Facilities
PG are very cheap monthly you have to pay approx rs 2000 including food. Hostel rooms are very good and food is also fresh as it under hostel board. All time light, water, heater are available. For pg course 2 hostel are there.
Alumni/Alumna
Every 2 years alumni meeting happens in our college. The seniors are very much helpful for starting our career. They can help you getting the opportunity. In my case I don't find any help but my friends does.
Admission
You need to have a valid Gate score and you need to apply for entrance exam conducted in may june. They will publish result and conduct a interview according to marks. After this final list will be publish if you are selected.You can take admission.
Faculty
Some faculty are very good and highly qualified but all are not good enough. They take regular class and unit test is conducted every month. Only some professor are student friendly rest are always try to demoralise students.
