The bad remark is about the communication skills development has to be sent and more number of placement have to be bought out.
Entrance Preview
I have taken IIT JEE examination and I couldn't clear it so I had also taken KCET held by govt of karnataka and in the seat matrix I have chosen this college as it was good in its staff and quality i got my admission in the third round of seat selection.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum includes 8 semesters and each semester has a duration of 5 months for the 1st year has 2 sem which is common for all the branch students. The course includes branches like mechanical, civil, textiles, computer science, electronic and communication etc.
Internships Opportunities
As I'm still a current student I haven't faced it still but those who are passed out are in good status and have good job of worth 2.5laks per annum as the minimum stipend.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunities are less as there is no proper communication skills among students but hats off to out alumni as they are training us from the day one to improve the communication skills among the students to fetch good carrier.
College Events
The college events include CHAITRA, the college fest, and the ethnic day, blood donation camps, and so on but ours is an government college and no more h celebration are held the function are held by students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As mine is a govt. college the fee structure is feasible than other private colleges only about 22,000 per year but of other colleges it is 70,000.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is a scholarship of 21,000 for obc students and 50,000 for sc/St and no scholarship for general merit students which killed us many opportunities and our poor status.
Campus Life
As our college belongs to VTU university all the activities are held in the odd semesters (1,3,5,7)and the fest should be held by the president of college. There are elections held for president and vice president of the college for the 7th sem seniors.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is at its worst, there is no proper shelter and the condition is very poor the mess is also not at its best the food is improper and not of quality.
Alumni/Alumna
Our alumin are the best part they are doing a good job in improving our communication skills. This helps us lot to learn about how to face any interview or a meeting.
Exam Structure
The exams are conducted by the VTU bord for each sem there are three internals and best of two average counts for our final results the minimum marks to pass is 40 among 80 in which 28 is minimum for external exams and rest is of internals average marks held for 20.
Faculty
The faculty of our college is highly qualified with years of experience. All the staff has minimum experience of 15years with a Ph.D certificate and some of them are resource persons from my college.
