Remarks

The management is hectic we have to roam here and there to get any work done and also the morning classes timings should be changed to 9 instead of 8:45.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The exam structure is fair. We have continuous assesments then have mid term exams then we have end term exams for every subject. Mostly we have to give regular exams muggin the answers before one night and giving the exams next morning the terms are short and compared the exams are more. The concepts taught are to be memorised and then written in the exams the curriculum is based on mugging the concept and passing the exams. We have very few faculty that talks about research and development. In rest we are taught by ppts and then we have to study on our own and pass the exams.

Placement Experience

3.5

As I am a 1year student I cant comment much on the placement now but the average placements is approximately 4 lpa. With highest placement going about 10 lpa last year. University does provide many companies and internship but it totally depends on the student how he performs and qualifies for the tests and interviews for jobs about internship Yes, the university does help in providing internships.

College Events

4.5

There are various events which are celebrated in Sharda University. The biggest and the best event is the cultural fest of sharda CHORUS. It is one of the biggest fest in the nort india with world wide participation it is a 3 day event and have national and international artists every day there is dj dance pictures events and various other stuff Students enjoy a lot. More over there are various other technical fest hackathon organised in the campus.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Structure is comparatively fair if we compare it with other private universities. There are various modes of payment from cash not more than (1 lack per semester) to swiping card in the account department then online portals and check and dd option is also available. fee breakdown is also clearly. Mentioned and for security our seat aand hostel we have to pay a token amount of 50k which was later adjusted in the tuition fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I did not opted for any scholarship or any education loan but sharda University provide scholarship to students based on jee mains and class 12 percentage and also helps in student loan.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life is nice and enjoyable there is a cricket ground multiple basketball courts and football ground badminton court and volley ball court then kabbadi then kho kho the about the gender ratio there are about 70:30 in btech thats what I would say. many workshops are organised and we get to know international students from various countries.

Hostel Facilities

4

Yes, I have opted of the hostel the rooms are small the facitily is good the security is good every thing is nice except for the food hostel life is nice and enjoyable. You can not complete your college life without a hostel thats what I would say.

Alumni/Alumna

Some of the seniors are really helpful and they help us in various things like telling about the faculty and giving us previous year question papers and organizing various workshops and giving ideas for projects.

Admission

I was searching for college then went to Sharda University with my dad then I gave the test after witch I gave an interview and a telephonic interview as well got selected and paid the token money to confirm my seat. Then they gave me admission and then all te procedures were followed.

Faculty

4

There are many faculty who are average and very few which are good and very rare who are actually really good. There are on an average 5 to 6 lectures per day. The average age of faculty will be around 30 years and mostly all have done masters and phds. But very few know how to teach. They just open their laptops project the ppts and read outthe ppts and there job is done. Some facilities are nice too they have different way of teaching and also help in placement driven learning and further they help in projects and extra doubts if we have.

Placement Experience:

Placements are both on and off-campus based. Placements are usually common for both IT and Non-IT students, Technical or Non-Technical. Students become eligible, in their final years to pursue internships or acquire placements. Usually students from Computer Science and Engineering avail more placement opportunities. The Medical Department have more options of Employability. Companies like HCL, Byju's, Extramarks, IBM and other local companies like Stambh Power Systems, Pieinfocomm and others have arrived. But the placement ratio needs to be increased. Off-Campus Placements are more successful. Highest Package can be 8lpa CTC to average package be 2.5lpa CTC, with profiles of assistance and associates. Atleast 30% students get placed on average. My plans are based on Learning in different ways.
