Course Curriculum Overview
The course has been divided in 6 semesters. Each semester includes monthly test and assignment. The course is fair. The course introduce us with the field but i would say the course needs to be updated as the time has gone where one should teach basic computer. Generally, every student know how computer works and what it is.
Placement Experience
I would say placement is not so great. Some companies do come but for bpo and kpo. Infosys is the only company which has an impact on us. But they offer only internship only to some students. The college doesn't help us in this.
College Events
Tech event Holi Diwali Sarang PU elections And many more. University is full of events. Here every events is celebrate and students love to skip the classes to participate in the events. UDYAMI: Entrepreneurial Crossroads UDYAMI is Panjab University's National Entrepreneurship Summit, organized annually by Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC), UIET. Fee Structure And Facilities
It's charge 40k per semester. I would say it is a bit much for such a course and panjab university is the government university. Also there are many charges that you have to includes once you take admission to the college. It has a in built gym which is chargeable. There is a mess but the food is not so great.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, There is no such facility where we can get some scholarship. Even there is no advantage to students to get some caste
Campus Life
As panjab university is tricity's university. The university is diverse. Here students come from distant places. You can find a person from jammu and Kashmir, Himachal, uttarakhand, panjab, haryana, chandigarh, uttar pradesh. People with diverse also come with diverse culture.
Alumni/Alumna
No, no such contact with senior. Even senior students do not have a contact with junior. The only contact will be when some one elect for the election
Admission
Panjabi University is approved university and it offers good source of education. I opt for bca and it has the faculty member trained in the field. Good practical course but poor campus placement. Punjab University conducts it's tech event in the department of science and computer application. Many students from different colleges participates in this. They also includes cash and other prizes which encourage students. In the campus, student canteen is there which offers great food at a nominal charges like Rs. 50 for a veg thali.
Faculty
The department has DR - department representative. CR - class representative If you are having some issue so you can contact your CR Or DR. First they will help you out with the issue and if the issue is big then they will consult with teachers. Even you can contact your president or vice president for the concern of any critical situation.
