Remarks

Situated in hills the campus is sublime but still lacks many important key aspects like placements and discipline. The management is highly irresponsible at times because of which students need to suffer a lot.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course is not as such reserch driven but different from the rest of the colleges. Like small subjects are merged into one and some subjects that require time are divided into 2 different structures altogether. The final year includes a project of 10 credits and that is completely reserch oriented and helpful for typing thesis and research papers.

Placement Experience

2.5

Nope. The year when I passed out the only available placements were mass recruiter IT companies and no core company of civil engineering or related field. Yes there is only a 45 days Intership but students themselves need to find them and submit the certificate at the end of 45 days in college.

College Events

3.5

The fests are plenty. Le Fiestus is the biggest event that happens in month of April and is the annual fest rest all are internal functions and fests taking place from Time to time. Diksha is fresher's party that takes place after a month of arrival of 1st year students. There are even various clubs like the IEEE and CEC that have their own fests.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive a bit. 50000 anually was the building fund when I passed out hence you ended up paying 2 lakh extra to the college for your degree. There was a nomial hostel feel of 47500 per semester which included electricity bills, mess, and laundry services also. At our time you ended up with a degree costing you nearly 10 lakh for 4 years.

Fees and Financial Aid

No there were no scholarships at all provided in our college. No eligibility criteria and no education loan as such specially for our college. But just the regular education loan which can be taken from the bank.

Campus Life

4.5

Nearly 1:3 was the gender ratio. People were mostly from Northern India but yes there was a complete diversity among the North Indians. Yes there was an annual inter college sports event by name of Parakram and various intra college events from time to time. IEEE sealed with Robotics and coding functions and they excelled in that. Debates were never a part but various events like JUIT MUN etc were of the highest interest for students.

Hostel Facilities

4

Yes. The hostels were very good. Neat and clean. Maintained on daily basis. The mess was good and food served was hygienic. Fruits were given from time to time and milk was served at night. Double shared rooms with central heating in winters. Since situated in hills you donot need more than a fan in summers. And overall hostel was a very good experience

Alumni/Alumna

Yes the seniors are extremely friendly but only after a month you enter the college. Till that time it's only introduction and interaction with them. Rest all is cool and fun

Admission

My father is a civil engineer and I wanted to pursue his career. Thus chose the course. I got admission on basis of combined merit list of class 12 boards and JEE marks. The forms are filled around April and councelling takes place in month of May and June.

Faculty

4

The faculty is highly qualified and experienced without a doubt but with the careless atitude of the students even they become so at times. The classes are cancelled, exams are marked lineantly and students if they just write something are passed. so that always remained an issue

The placement opportunities in the college are average to good, depending on the branch and students’ skills. Several companies visit the campus for recruitment in technical, manufacturing, IT, and service sectors. The college also conducts placement training programs such as aptitude classes, interview preparation, group discussions, and soft skill development sessions to improve students’ employability.
