Course Curriculum Overview

For marine engineering it should be for 4 years and for nautical science it is of 3 year course. And fees for marine engineering per semester it is approximately 3 lacs and for nautical science it is approximately 2.5lacs and all the things are included in this all the hostel fees and this course are residential courses

Our college has the best placement for merchant Navy for this college and no other college can give this type of placement

College Events

Horizon is the main event of the college where all the students are going to perform dance and other things and play games and contribute themselves to win the team Transtech is the other event in which many marine college come together and make some model and paper presentation is done

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive but it has transparency in the fee structure the charge as per they use the money and the facility is very convenient for all the students in the campus and the faculty also stay in the campus and also do faculty rounds in the hostel to see whether students are studying or not

Yes some of the students get scholarship according to their semester mark and credit points which you have scored

Campus life is the most beautiful life of this course and this 4 year or 3 years in this college will be the best on your life.gender ratio is approximately 2:1. The best sports facility you can get in this college and it has best lab and workshop in the Asia

Yes opted for hostel and the rooms are very much good and the facility in the hostel is good and the area is also good as it is near to village area so there is beautiful fresh air in the environment.

Seniors are the most helpful in this college and no ragging takes place as their are strict rules for this

Admission

At first prepare for IMU CET and then prepare for TMISAT and interview of the college based on this you will get admission.this college has the best placement for merchant Navy and specially for nautical science batch it has 100% placement and for more information visit TMI website

Faculty

Per semester there are 18 weeks and also there is preparing leave at the end for 1 week and main exams for 2 weeks. And the faculty of this college takes more efforts to teach and ensure that you have understand everything. I every lecture the ask you questions

The reality check

Likes

The college professors are very particular about attendence and they will always keep there eye on your attendance and according to them attending is very important.
The college infrastructure is very good and there is vast space for students to chill and study library is also very spacious.
The teachers are always eager to solve our doubts and interact with us , the want the more and more students should approach them ask there doubts and discuss the syllabus etc.

Dislikes

I didn't like that sometimes over priority is given to the attendance I think a student can study well at his or her own sometimes only regularly attending lectures can't make you score more self study is important
The college don't have big ground earlier there used to be a big ground but it has gone for the construction work so, we only has a turf and a small ground.
The approach towards the teaching should be changed slightly and more practical based learning should be included.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement start from seventh semester and from third semester only students are enrolled in TPO Training and Placement Organisation where they train students withe various technical skills to acquire a good job. Various famous companies visit our college. Highest pakacge is of eight lakh per annum by Nice solutions. Percentage of student getting place on campus is less. After degree I will do a job.

Awesome college life during graduation

Likes

College was newly constructed so infrastructure was quite good.
Teacher's teaching was great as we were 3rd batch
Teacher's used to pay attention to every single students progress.

Dislikes

It was specifically much far from main city
Teacher's were very strict like used to call to parents if students are not present in class
Not much placement companies came to college. Placement rate was not so great

Placement Experience:

Placements for my college was not so good they had provided some companies which has came to take interviews but hardly fuse students got selected and higher number of students had place through consulting agency and they were place of campus even I also did not got placed through college and I had job through off campus. In all, 35 students have got placed via college placements and out of those hardly 20 students join the companies wear in they were placed.

Mit aoe has good faculties and teaching and academic are good enough
Not too crowded as intake is 1300 students of the college
Gender ratio is almost 4:3 as of my batch

Dislikes

Mit aoe Campus is very small hardly 4 to 5 acres
Mit aoe fees is costly comparitively to the other colleges
Mit aoe Campus is almost at the edge of pcmc makes hard for traveling to the main city

Placement Experience:

I think students are eligible for internship from 2 nd year and about placement it is nice with the comparison to others like Sinhgad ,marathwada and alll companies like jsw,cisco ,eq technology and many more are visited in placement cell

The environment of the campus and the quality of infrastructure is a very much good that's for not a any solution for that

Nothing bad about this college it is an a good college that can provide the good opportunity for student

I like the staff of mechanical branch. They are good at teaching.
My colleagues are good and helpful. Also supportive..
My seniors are great mates and not a single Case of bowling happen.

Dislikes

The canteen of my college is basically trash.
The Xerox shop is very small and always has a rush.
The aesthetics of the campus is not That appealing.

Placement Experience:

Our college gives in campus placements for students in the final year. Our college also has a great reputation regarding the placements giving higher packages to students. The average package for mechanical branch is 4.5 lakhs which is fairly decent considering it's a tear to college.

Infrastructure of college is bad, need to renew also there is so much pigeons in college
If you want to work on your professional development, college will not much help you, you have to build it by yourself.
My personal experience in this college is boring and mostly I experience difficult to make friends may be the reasons because it is only girl's college, but it depend on person to person

College provides Placement opportunites, Average placement is nearly 4.5laks. College will help you after the graduation for one year for the job opportunities if you didnt got job in final year. there are 25+ companies visits in our campus.

Staffs were quite supportive and helpful.
Good faculty. They helped throughout semester and taught well.
There were placements from beginning of 4th year. So, it was quite good for me.

Dislikes

I don't liked the college campus. It's under construction. Hope will become better some day.
No events , no tech fests. No excitement
Good companies offering higher packages not visited college.

Placement Experience:

Companies started sending their placements form to college groups from starting of the 7th semester. For particular branches, particular companies visited. Many companies send their placement forms this year. But each selected a max of 2-3 candidates only. In the strength of 76, 15 got placed on campus this year. Selection rates or placements criteria were too low.

One of the best colleges in Maharashtra

Remarks:

Focusing on student's attendence rather than focusing on students concepts. College is not focusing in development of students only paperwork is done. No conceptul teaching nor practical. By doing this stuff we can get a btech degree but not the knowledge a btech student should have.

I applied to IMU Kolkata,Mumbai Port campus and Chennai alongwith it I also applied to AMET. I got selected in every college except AMET and I feel that Tolani Maritime Institute provides us with better facilities in every aspects compared to the other colleges I applied for. A review about my institute

12 th pass with 60% in pcm and 50% in English. 10th pass. You can find the application form on the Tolani Maritime Institute website. Application fees is 1500. It depends after the imucet examination. First candidate need to appear for the imucet examination and then after when he or she passes the exam with good rank than that individual he she can apply the form for tolani maritime institute which is available on the tmi website. Reservation doesn't happened here according to me. I exactly don't know the reservation process. See according to me there is no need for any improvement in tolani maritime institute. one thing they can do is that they take their own examination namely tmisat and after that interview takes place but the interview was online and according to me it should happen offline and also physical test should be there because there are so many candidates who are not physically fit.
