Remarks

College management was strict when it came to adhering rules. It was good experience as we were experiencing freedom of college with strictness of schools.

Entrance Preview

I took the course as it was a new course which was different from BSc Computer Science. The course was more specific for people who want to be Part of computer science.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum was well planned with right balance of maths and computer science. Various subjects included English, Structured Maths,Systems Analysis,Systems Design,Coding and programming, statistics.

Internships Opportunities

Since our course was new the companies were not aware about it. But now the course is well recognized. The IT companies are aware of these course and are offering internships to the students.

College Events

4

We celeberated INSYNCH as the cultural festival. Our college campus was the centre for the cultural festival. In addition science and management events, debates and quizzes were also held at the campus.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees was nominal and affordable by one and all. this made the course more popular and preferred. The curriculum was value for money and very feasible.

Fees and Financial Aid

This is not applicable to me as I did not take any loan facility. I did not secure any scholarships but iam sure since my college happens to be part of esteemed Gymkhana Education society and is one of the most reputed colleges of pune it must be offering scholarships.

Campus Life

4

The college environment was clean and safe and my course had enough girl students. The student crowd was mixed and very congenial for girls. The girls hostel was also safe. science and management events, debates and quizzes were also held at the campus.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel accomodations were good and the facilities were decent. Lot of outstation students from Mumbai and even North could be seen in the hostel. Food was hygienic and good.

Alumni/Alumna

Very strong Alumni network present. Lot of students from my batch are now residing in USA but are still part of the Alumunus body. The Seniors were very cordial and polite.

Exam Structure

The exams and lab experiences were not hectic but were well balanced. It was the right mix and exposure to theory and practicals which made learning fun and chilled out.

Faculty

4.5

My college was more like school as attending lectures was important. It covered hardware and software both extensively and gave detailed knowledge of coding and programming.

Placement Experience:

Placements at ADYPU are moderate and structred . Students usually become eligilble from the final year for campus drives. Various startups and mid level comapnies visit for roles in sales, marketing, operatioons and tech support . The highest pacakage generally ranges arounf 45-50LPA , while the average package is around 4.5-6 LPA , depending on the profile . A fair percentage of active students secure placements. After completing my degree, i plan to focus on skill development and pursue better career op;portunities.

Placement Experience:

placements in GHRCE are pretty good for CS/IT branches. Students become eligible from 7th semester, but companies starts giving training sessions from 6th sem itself. Many known companies visits like Tcs, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Infosis etc The highest package goes around 20-22 LPA while the average package is around 5-6 LPA. Almost 70-80% students from CS/IT get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get a stable job and then do masters.

Government College of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science)
Reviewed on Mar 2, 2025(Enrolled 2022)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course out of sheer curiosity and intrest in the field of Artificial Intelligence . The course offered by the college encapsulates all the major subtopics included in the field. Theoretically the curriculum offers great knowledge about various topics from your course however you yourself have to figure out how do you build your practical skills which you can use in the real world. teaching methods can be improvised by implementing a more practical learning based approach rather than relying on the theoretical part of the subject. there are 2exams per semester, one small exam called as mid semester exams and the other one is the major exam called as final semester exam. difficulty of exam is usually easy to moderate and one can easily pass the exam even if he/she does not study regularly.
