Remarks

Yes, it is good at times they are very strict when it comes to financial matters.

Placement Experience

Placement is 2.5/5 for our batch overall it is 3.5/5 star. From A.Y 2019 they have an introduction 6 months internship in the 8th semester.

College Events

4.5

1. Aavishkar 2. Tantrasangam 3. Startup Fest 4. Expert Talk sessions 5. Annual cultural fest 1. Aavishkar is a national-level symposium and it has an average footfall of 8000 people from the country. 2. Tantrasangam is an annual magazine where students and alumni can participate in the form of articles poems etc 3. It started from 2019 only and in 1st year it gained a response from 2000 people from Kolhapur region 4. These are usually for GCEK students and alumni only. 5. Only for Gcek students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For my batch, it was 65 thousand. Yes, a fees breakup is provided and you can file RTI for any discrepancies if you find them. The course fee is finalized by the Government of Maharashtra and DTE. College accepts digital payments in every aspect be it an annual fee, mess fees, hostel fees any penalty charges, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Not opted but there are facilities available like Government of Maharashtra Scholarship, Central Government Scholarship, and bank loans. Online applications are available.

Campus Life

3.5

The gender diversity ratio is 1:3 means there are 33% girls and year by year the number is increasing. Yes GCEK has equipment and facilities for each and every sport, gym, robotics lab, etc. The campus is 100%ragging free. There is a friendly environment among seniors and juniors.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Yes, I opted for a college hostel. It is a government of Maharashtra hostel and everything is as average as its government hostel but you get the privilege of wifi in rooms and lan connections, common TV room. Sports equipments etc.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, they help you with anything but you need to ask first. GCEK has a wide alumni network of 15,000 engineers spread across the world.

Faculty

The faculty to students ratio is low but few faculties have a high domains expertise. Few have industry experience and few are new in the field. Being a Government Institution faculty recruitment is not in hands of college authorities, it lies with the Government of Maharashtra.

My perspective about my college!!

Likes

Such a huge campus and it is located not far from the city so bus and autos are always available.
Our canteens serves Misal Pav which is next level.
For a city like Amravati and a college like ours, having a tech fest is a dream but since 2022, we have been hosting a tech event called Techlons.

Dislikes

Crowd is not that amazing as most students are non-serious over here.

Placement Experience:

TCS trains us in the third year and L&T Infotech and TCS are the ones who hired students. Almost half the students were taken by these two companies with an annual salary of 6 lakhs or so. For a freshers to work in such companies is a privilege and I am glad, we get this opportunity at our college.

A Brief Theory Round Of Aissms College Of Engineering

Likes

The campus is quite big and there are proper laboratories for every subject , also the faculty is quite helpful and helps student to settle up and get along so that the teaching and doubt interaction is built up from the starting
We have metro station right outside the gate of college so the travelling is quite simple
It's also good to have a college stationary right inside the campus and with discount too!

Dislikes

The benches are small which kind off makes the students uncomfortable to sit for more than 2 hours in that space
Canteen hygiene is not maintained at all
There's no underground parking for students and lack of space for parking of two wheelers

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Aissms College Of Engineering in comparison to the other one institute of Information technology. I personally have even saw seniors getting placements when they were in placement round room. And looking at all the boards the college has put up and I can definitely says that the college does get placements and companies do come
