- There is a peaceful environment everywhere is the college from the outer open space to the library everything is well maintained. The infrastructure is good. There is separate computer labs and different infrastructure for each department
- The faculty has good amount of expertise. They use the suitable teaching methods for students to become industry ready
- Placement services are active and organise various events time to time for the studnets of every year
Dislikes
- Some extra curricular subjects need to be included in the studies
- The college does not have electricity generator for every classroom
- The campus is not covered by CCTV for each space
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is mainly focused on parts of Electronics Engineering and Telecommunication hence it gives the integrated knowledge of both. The curriculum prepares really well for real?world applications as it includes examples of the real world problem. Course curriculum should also include short projects to be able to interact with the real world problems.
Internships Opportunities
Very good internship opportunities are available for students. Companies like TCS and Infosys alongwith some regional companies offer roles for helping developer, telecom engineer and desktop support engineer, etc. This companies offer intership with stipend of Rs. 15000 to Rs. 25000 approximately. Students learn though these opportunities by building communication and electronic systems as projects.
Placement Experience
The placemets of my college are very good. Students become eligible for campus placements after completion of the 5th semester. TCS, AWS, Infosys are the compa nies visited and offered upto 30 lakhs. The highest package was of 20 lakhs and average package was around 6-6.7 lakhs. Around 90% of students get internship and placement opprtunities from campus. I am planning to secure a job througjh campus placements after getting the degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
As a government colleg the fees rate are nominal. The fee increase is at steady rate as per the new government rules and regulations. The tuition fee is Rs. 7500, service fees including exam fee, gym fee, development fee is approximately Rs. 60000. All the government included scholarships and EBC, EWS, category scholarships are available for students which include fee waiver of 10% to 50%. I have availed the benefit of EBC scholarships which has 50% tuition fee waiver.
Campus Life
The campus life was so fun and educating at each step. I ahd participated in technical events held in January and February. The library offers tons of books for being a industry ready person.Every classroom has digital display board along with blackboard and a projector indoor and outdoor sports are organised for physical and mental development of the students. Also the industrial trips are arranged for more benefits to carrier path. Students run various clubs like robo club, art club for overall development of their juniors and friends
Admission
I have given MHT-CET exam to be eligible to get admission in this collge with the mimum percentile of 95. Then through cap round-1 I got this college. I availed the benefit of EBC scholarship which require the income proof of less than 8 Lakhs per annum. Due to EBC Scholarship I got 50% tuition fee waiver.The eam has intermediate to high difficulty level. Admission process was very convenient. The paperwork during this process is need to be reduced.
Faculty
A faculty is avaible for 60 students in a class. I think it is sufficient for overall development of the whole class. The way of teaching of each faculty is focused to make students industry ready. I often interact with the teacher during the class. Teachers are also available at respective department to solve your doubt anytime.
