BBA at Chandigarh University

I have learned a lot at CU. I am happy that I made this choice of choosing CU for my studies.

The curriculum which is offered to students is excellent and is updated as per industry requirements. A huge effort is made by faculty members to keep us updated about the latest happenings in the industry. In each semester 2-3 industry visits are planned. Each month the industry experts are invited to interact with the students. This helps to make the student's industry ready and bridge the gaps between the skills that are required by the corporate.

The list of companies (These are a few names, the list is exhaustive) that have hired this year from our college are Godrej & Boyce, Kelvin Clein, Arving Lifestyle Brands Ltd., People Scout, Royal Bank of Scotland, Urban clap. A huge focus is on preparing the students for the placements. Multiple mock interview sessions are conducted so that students are well prepared before the final day of the interview. Students are geared up for placements from day 1.

With alot of focus on academics, the extracurricular activities are never ignored at Chandigarh University. Various competitions like debate, group discussions, quizzes, business games, cultural events are held in the university throughout the year.

The semester fee is INR 48000. It is very nominal. There is an examination fee of INR 2000 and security of INR 2000 which is to be deposited at the time of admission. Hostel fee is charged if a student is availing hostel facility. Hostel fee is INR 86000 per annum.

The University is offering a scholarship to the students through the CUCET scholarship test. If a student scores well in the test then much of the semester fee gets waived off. This test is a good opportunity for students. Moreover, the wards of defence persons and COVID -19 warriors also get a scholarship based on certain criteria.

You will see huge student diversity on the campus. Almost students are from all states and union territories who are studying in CU. There is a good number of international students who are studying in various countries. There are various events which are planned throughout the year to make the students participate in various extracurricular activities. CU fest, Sports day, Youth Summits, Job Fairs, Tech Invent are the few to name.

Chandigarh University has good alumni networks. we interact with our alumni from time to time and get a better understanding of job prospects.

I took admission in Chandigarh University as my friend recommended the university to me. It has built a very good reputation. It is a NAAC A+ accredited university. While taking admission I had no doubts as my friend has already briefed me about the academics and other related activities in the university. Good placements were the prime factor which attracted me to the university.

Faculty is experienced and highly qualified. Most of the faculty members are Ph. Ds in the respective fields of study. There is a strong bond which is developed between students and teachers. This strong student-teacher relationship always makes the students comfortable to raise their queries. Faculty members are always approachable to help students in the best possible manner.
