Academically, if you are not the one for rott learning then you might have a hard time, but the campus life and the people you get to meet here, is priceless. A part of your heart will remain here forever.

The curriculum is mostly outdated but the faculty believes in doing research work, so that's a positive. But in a few subjects, rott learning is required and teachers give marks on the basis of alphabets written rather than concepts behind them, but again, it's not a unique issue. You face it almost everywhere in India.

Placement is the biggest positive I can say about DTU as the quantity and quality of companies which come in the campus are really top notch.

Engifest- Cultural fest of DTU and is North India's biggest fest by a mile. It boasts of the best line-up, each year. Technical Fest, in which a lot of tech groups showcase their ability, inter college Ahvaan- Sports fest of DTU is an upcoming sports fest which has already taken huge improvements since its inception

The gender ratio is definitely questionable but one is certainly going to have a very good experience as there are loads of opportunities to explore in the college, in both academics and extra curriculars. Campus ranges from breathtaking to beautiful and also has a very well built sports area.

No, I wasn't a hosteller. The first years have hostels in one corner of the college while seniors have it on another. The girls hostel and boys hostel are disjoint. The condition of most the rooms is deplorable actually but the prices are also too low for hostel facility.

The alumni network is strong, and there are numerous meet ups regularly happening in and outside the country as well. You can reach them out in LinkedIn as well and a community, DCEConnect is a very well established community of the alumni

I gave JEE-MAINS Entrance post 12th boards examination. For the entrance, I had joined a coaching institute and the subjects were Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. It is one the toughest examination to crack just not because of the difficulty but also because of so many people undertaking the exam as well.

They are mostly helpful and encourage research work. Some encourage to even write reasearch papers and get the research published in a journal. They are also helpful in co-curricular activities and our collection has a very active extra curricular wing.
