Course Curriculum Overview
In the 3+1 programme, we have learned about various subjects like dispensing, diagnostics, clinical refraction, contact lens, low vision, sports vision, public health, prosthesis etc, which covers all the aspects of optometry.we have a full equipped lab and also organise eye camps and hospital visits.
Placement Experience
CU provides the best placement in the top companies all over India. Here we have an internship programme in the final year any clinical practice in the top tertiary hospital all over India.
College Events
There are various events that are organised throughout the semester. Here we have International Youth festival, cu festival, tech events, in optometry we have world sight day celebration, optometry day celebration. NSS events like blood donation, poster competition, etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is feasible for the course in Chandigarh university. The payment can be done in various ways, both online and offline. According to our convenience, we can pay the fee. No additional charges are applicable for the admission in the course.

I have not opted for any scholarship or education loan but there are scholarship opportunities for students.
Campus Life
The Chandigarh university campus is a huge campus with gardens, sports complex, food junctions, 18 academic blocks, various hostels etc. The campus life is fun and vibrant with various extracurricular activities to perform. The lab is well equipped and functional. Various activities and competition are organised by cu related to sports, extracurricular- debate, declamation etc.

Chandigarh university alumni are really helpful and supportive. One of our alumni guided me during this quarantine scenario.
Admission
The career consultant from CU connected with me via telephone and briefed me about the course. As it was a new course I had many doubts about it, for which they have helped and cleared all my doubts and they helped me with the admissions. CU is one of the best university in India, for that reason I chose CU.
Faculty
We have well qualified and experienced faculties from all over India. We have 6 faculty and 1 guest faculty. All the faculties postgraduate and some have enrolled in PhD, they have good communication skills and knowledge about the course which they make us understand in a simplified manner.
