Course Curriculum Overview
In one semester, there are two mid-semester tests (MST) and then final exams. Meanwhile, there are various industrial visits (to vision therapy clinic, binocular vision clinic, complete eye hospitals, etc), guest lectures (on various optometry topics), workshops (on binocular vision, contact lens, ocular prosthesis, dispensing, etc), eye camps at the village, etc provided by the university.

Companies that come for placement are titan eye plus, lenskart, vision Rx, and G.K.B. opticals. University provides internship in LVPEI, Shankra Netralaya, Narayana Netralaya, Dr Agarwal eye hospital, Dr Sheroff charitable eye hospital, Dr Om Prakash eye hospital, etc.
College Events
Chandigarh University is known for events organisation and its management. University organises Tech invent, CU fest, fresher's party, etc every year. Punjab youth fest 2020 was organised in Chandigarh university. Chandigarh University is allover North zone inter-university winner in All India youth fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure is not expensive. There is additional fees of examination, security, fresher's party, and CU fest. If student want to join TTP for campus placement, there is additional fees. There are some late fees charges on the semester fees. Univeristy provides transparency of the breakdown of the fees.

University provides scholarship to the students who secured good marks in 12th standard. The scholarship is also provided to the students who are good in academics at Chandigarh University. The scholarship is provided for up to 100%.

There is almost the same number of boys and girls in university. The campus of Chandigarh university is beautiful and full of greenery. The campus life is good.
