All about SBV

Positive and negative both together makes a good thing. So it is the same as for a college. But as students, we should always focus on the brighter side. And the brighter side provides good assistance from the teachers, beautiful and soothing atmosphere for learning and also feels like a second home.

The course is known as BS or BN in few countries and the course is for three to four years with a Major in Nursing. The curriculums are focused on nursing theories, nursing processes and teaching versions of general science topics that are adapted to be more specific and relevant to nursing practice. Exam structure is pretty good and is divided into semester type.

Firstly, the University provides training and career guidance services to shape the students' career. Secondly, the university offers placements opportunities to the students seeking the best jobs in the industry. Stipends varies from internship to internship.

B.Sc Nursing is for two consecutive years and it's a full time course on campus. The fee structure for this particular course in SBV is Rs.75,000/- for two years. That is, for one year it is 37,500/- per year. The fee structure is justified for it's a complete training course.

50% of the scholarships are for girls and students belonging to reserved categories/weaker sections/minorities are eligible on the basis of merit. Scholarships will be given to those students whose family income is less than 6lakhs per annum.

College fests, annual functions, Fresher's day, farewell day, seminars and meetings on important topics ,workshops on various issues etc take place. Availability of games to be played within the campus is also available and every student is treat equally in the university .

A very beautiful, well structured and separate hostels is present in college for Boys and Girls separately. Every hostel room is air-conditioned, has space, ventilated and nicely furnished. Importantly, for the good health and safety of every student in the hostel, there is purified drinking water and hygienically prepared- good quality food is provided to the students at a very low price.

One who wants admission in the Nursing courses, are supposed to appear for the SVB Budget Examination and students will be selected according to the marks obtained in this examination. Admission to other PG courses will depend on the marks obtained in 10+2 examination.
