Remarks
I have only Good Opinion about my college, the main thing I noted was there is no difference between Tamil students and Malayali students, all are corporate equally in every programs and event. Kerala festivals also celebrated very well even Tamil students also participate in our celebrations, and all staffs are equally treated students.
Course Curriculum Overview
It was one of the best in class college to learn, the lecturers are very much cooperative and the specialty in our college is they have a medical college (Mahatma Gandhi Medical College). Exam Hall is very spacious and lecturers are strict too. The exam structure is apt for a student, our lecturers are not always strict, but will be strict in exams upon a time.
Placement Experience
In our college, after the course, there is a one-year internship in our Mahatma Gandhi Medical college and monthly salary at that time was 5000 INR.
College Events
The main celebrated event in our college is Pongal, nutrition day, Deepavali and of course, they have celebrated Kerala festivals because most of the students are from Kerala. Sports events are very much celebrated here. Pongal is a grand celebration our college, all must participate in these events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The First Year, Yearly 72000 Rs is the Fee Structure. On second year itself, it will increase up to 80000 INR yearly. And Bsc Nursing is a 4-year course and one-year internship, Totally 5-year course. Books are charged extra apart from this, and community uniforms are also chargeable extra.
Fees and Financial Aid
I opted for education loan from State Bank of India, Marakkada Branch Trivandrum for 4 Lakhs Rupees by pledging our Property of 1 Acre Land
Campus Life
Campus life was really awesome. There are 3 Labs, Nutrition lab, Nursing Lab(2). We can practice for cricket and other plays in our separate Playground. Debates and workshops even symposium is conducted in each every 6 months. For that, we have a separate spacious Hall too.
Hostel Facilities
5000 is the Hostel Fees. Facilities are really awesome, Our facilities are Gym, Television Room is separate There are 3 or 4 variety of foods each day, especially they are preparing fried rice. We have separate Playground for playing cricket, football, etc. On Wednesday and Sunday, we have Non-Vegetarian
Alumni/Alumna
Senior Students are really helpful to us and even society, they conducted campaigns for providing food and dress materials to flood-affected people during those days, and they also provide us job vacancies too.
Admission
After passing my higher secondary education. I call to Kasturba Gandhi nursing college and I enquired about this college, whether it has the university approval or not. After my inquiry, I knew that it has approval and I decide to take admission there.
Faculty
College faculty is very strict and easily approachable, our Principal S.Kamalam was the very careful and lovable person I had ever seen. Office staffs are very caring too, mainly our office staffs and Bus drivers. A peon named Rajappan help us very much in our day to day activities.
